MB+ to EU4

MB+ to EU4 is an attempt to use the lovely Paradox savegame converters made by the famous Paradox game converter team to convert your MB+ savegames into EU4 so that Asia is included. Please note this has only been tested with MB+, no submods, no other mods, nothing. Only MB+.
Please note that I am in NO WAY affiliated with the converter team NOR the MB+ team. I am just a lone dude trying their best to make this thing work to the best of my ability as someone who doesn't speak computer code.

There are some issues with the results, but for the most part they seem to be working. If anyone can figure out how to get around these then good job! You're smarter than me (which isn't hard tbf). Here are the list of problems that I cannot solve and would be grateful if people can somehow provide a solution that I could implement (keep in mind I cannot code so I have to stick to the config files):
- Mandate of Heaven does not convert for some reason. This is why Ming is present, so that any AI (or player) can simply declare to seize the MoH. Zhenjiang is properly mapped but is excluded for the sole reason of having access to the MoH for the AI as well as player.
This may be something that would have to be coded in the converter itself (similar to how HRE mechanics are handled), but that is beyond the scope of my abilities (as well as editing code written by the converters team which I don't think I can do lmao). I have tried government mappings (as evident in the government_map txt file), but still doesn't work for some reason. I have opted for the Chinese Warlord reform in light of this.
- Terra Incognita doesn't make sense (e.g. China can not see Japan or Korea). Pretty sure it's linked to tech groups, but don't understand why it works for SEA and not for China and the Far East.
- Malay culture in Sumatra doesn't all convert to Sumatran. Don't know why.
- Vassal splitting doesn't work properly. That is that independent states are created but are not vassalized by who is supposed to be their overlords. Only PU's work and therefore only Christian nations will have subjects. Again, don't know why this is nor have any ideas on how to fix.
- Would like to add a splitting of Japan into it's different duchies/counterparts and have those be the subject of the emperor/king of japan (to mimic the shogunate), however that is most likely beyond the scope of the config files and my abilities.

With all that said and done, on to how to install this sucker.
1. Locate this mod folder in Drive(?):SteamLibrary/steamapps/workshop/content/859580. Sort by last modified and it should appear on the top, or find the mod ID: 3086872209
2. Open the mod folder. Inside you should find a folder labelled configurables and readme. Read the readme for more instructions.

Some (as of this moment) predicted Q&A:
Q: Update?
A: Most likely no. I would need to know the exact changes, or hunt down errors in the conversion log and even then that wouldn't guarantee that I can find the problem AND fix it. Also this entire thing took me like 3 weeks so yeah. I.e. When I feel like it.

Q: Can I copy/repost this mod?
A: Only if you actually alter the config files and/or give credit. Tbh I don't really have any jurisdiction over the converter itself as it isn't my property. I also encourage you to upload your own version if this mod hasn't been updated or you have managed to fix things that I haven't.

Q: Does this work for [insert other asian expansion mod here]
A: I don't know! You can always try, but don't hold your breath! You can always look into the actual config files yourself if you feel that you are up to the task of personally mapping the various cultures, provinces, and tags to each other.

Q: Does this work with [insert mod here]?
A: Haven't tried it. The only mod that has been tested is SOLELY MB+. No other mods. None. Nada. So if you use other mods in your saves, don't expect the converter to play nice or the results to turn out pretty (which is also why it is encouraged for you to tinker around and possibly upload your own amalgamation that addresses your specific concerns).

Q: Is this supported by the Converters team?
A: If you cannot read the warnings/disclaimers that the team gives out and that are in the readme file...

Q: This doesn't work for me! Why!?
A: Idk. Make sure that it is ONLY MB+ that you have played the game with. If that is all okay then first read through the current problems section in the readme (or on this workshop page) and ONLY THEN send a report and I MAY get to it. No promises though.

Q: There are weird letters or ?? in my country names >:(
A: I don't know how to fix that tbh. The best I can think of is going into the converter created mod (that is in your EU4 mods folder) and edit the localisation or the various country text files.

Q: Why MB+?
A: Imma be real wit u. It is the most subscribed total conversion mod on the workshop, that's why. It was a tossup between this and Rajas of Asia (RoA), simply due to sheer mod compatibility (a STRONG MAYBE as to whether I will bother with implementing any personal mod playlist changes/updates to the config files). I initially started with Asia Expansion Project, but then CK3 and the converters updated and real life got in the way, so I instead went for something where there would be more people to both use this and experiment with (as there are always people asking for asia conversion compatibility on the forums).

Again, to reiterate. Please read through the current problems section both here and in the readme before posting any problems or issues (as it can save more time by reading), and if you have any fixes that have somehow worked for you please share! Not just for me, but for others that are having the same problems or would like to fix the existing ones.

Also please send some love to the Converters team. This wouldn't be possible without them <3
