The lack of motivation is understandable, as an artist I always deal with the roller coaster that is trying to find the motivation to continue my work, but I and many others share the sentiment that your Viridian isn't bad at all, his neutral special is just a bit wonky to us effectively. I'm not a modder, the farthest I've gotten with stuff like this is just making sprites, so I can't say for certain whether or not my suggestion for his gravity-flip would "fix" it, but I hope you rise from the rut you've fallen into and see that what you made isn't as awful as you think it is.
