Beskrivning
Matilda tanks, along with other vehicles of British design, were first delivered to the Soviet Union in autumn of 1941. A total of 918 out of 1,084 of Matilda tanks had actually arrived to the Soviet Union in 1941-1943.

While a small number of Matildas was utilized as early as the Battle of Moscow, in large numbers they began appearing on the battlefield starting from 1942, most notably during the infamous second Battle of Kharkov and summer Battle of Rzhev. Matilda II had proven to be reasonably effective in 1942 due to its great armor protection, but with 75mm long-barreled guns becoming more and more common and its main gun losing its effectiveness as more advanced German tank designs had begun appearing, it was ultimately decided against procuring more of these tanks starting from spring of 1943.

Features:
  • Two versions of the Soviet-styled Matilda II tank: basic Matilda II and Matilda II CS
  • 4-man crew: driver, gunner, commander (with a functioning rotating periscope) and loader (because there is no such functionality in ER2, he is there simply as a passenger and a spare crew member).
  • 40mm (10/60 HE/AP shots)/76mm (40/20 HE/Smoke, using 76mm M1 gun shots as a placeholder) main gun and 7.92mm co-axial machine gun.
