Trottingham: The Pony Mod

A small equine town conquered by the Covenant. 2-10 Players.

This is not for the faint of the normie heart, because this is pony territory... well was pony territory before being indoctrinated by everyone's favorite space religious hegemony. Semantics. Anyways, this is actually a remake of the ill-fated boxy map of mine, Trot Town. The former map was me trying to use 3DS Max before moving to Blender, many years before the MCC Workshop was even a concept. Unlike Trot Town, Trottingham was crafted with more care in its visual design, gameplay flow, and some level of balance. While not to the "pro" level, I still consider this to be a valuable enough effort that's fitting for a "party map."


Map Features

- Horse town with its own environmental storytelling, and some references.
- Needler is buffed with rate of fire & projectile speed.
- Building rooftops are climable like ladders.
- Twilight's Scepter from Season 4, now functioning as a Gravity Hammer.
- Dragon Lord Ember's Bloodstone Scepter as the Oddball.
- Flags & Oddball uses third person mode.
- Digsite spear gun (Only available though Fiesta).
- Queen Chrysalis as the in-game announcer.*
- Spartan death voices lines from various characters from MLP, fem spartan from the later Halo games, Chee from Chikn Nuggit (because Chee's scream is really funny), and other fitting Hollywood screams.
- AI versions of this map for offline play & combat training.
- Firefight Co-Op

*These lines were generated when 15.ai was still a thing. As of typing, the site is MIA. Don't ask.


Known Bugs

- AI doesn't use the Gravity Hammer well.
- Players using the Gravity Hammer may appear swinging the hammer after initial swing. The bipeds are using a tweaked animation tag from the Digsite tag set.
- Chiptune music found at the two buildings may cut out during violent gameplay.
