Description
(I have not played Kenshi in quite some time, I have not had the time to tweak this mod for nearly more than a year. Neither have I had access to the mod files ever since the hurricanes hit Florida!)

Mod Goals
This mod will bring balance to certain troop types and continuously evolve for a more immersive lore friendly gameplay experience. All tweaks aim for lore accuracy then optimal game balance. (Because let’s be real here, a Stormtrooper commander having a portable shield generator that can take any hit doesn’t translate well to kenshi standards lol). Extra goodies will be added over time that the base mod doesn’t have as well. Be patient as these adjustments need time for thorough testing. This is in no way meant to demean the original project as it's incredible as is, this is simply a different outlook on the envisioned world through my eyes.

Future Changes
- Tweak everything else that the mod has added that directly affects gameplay.
- Properly tweak Mandalorian armor.
- Add secret NPC's to discover, though this may be a separate mod.E.g. Mister Bones etc, wouldn't it be fun to have him around like Beep and Boop?
- Add/Alter words used in certain dialogue to use more Star Wars terminology. E.g. Mando's will use more Mando'a terms (Mandalorian language, think Clone Republic Commando's calling each other "Ner vod".). Swear words [might change the terms in the censored dialogue version instead of uncensored dialogue] will be changed to ones used in lore, etc. E.g. Poodoo, Bantha fodder, Fierfek... *Cough* Nerf Herder.


Overview
Descriptions for many items are being updated each update with lore tidbits.

All Hive variants can now use their racial armor once again.

Chiss had differing race stats and multipliers, these have been balanced to be the same and lore friendly in all styles "Sniper", "Gunslinger" etc. Seems to be only race that had this problem.

Empire troops have had stat alterations based on their class and variant. Notable changes include improved armor for advanced troops, gas immunity for stormtroopers and nerfed harpoon/pierce defense with lower acid/no gas immunity for scout troopers.

Backpacks now have stacking, pricing, and effect tweaks. Combat skill debuffs have also been adjusted. (Bandolier’s now included)

Composite armor has been overhauled to align more with its lore heavy plated melee oriented role. No longer a blaster sponge but great in melee. Still a force to be reckoned with.

Most New Races, vehicles, and droids have improved pathfinding. SCAR's pathfinding fix can be used for vanilla races not covered yet.

Some droids' bleed rates have been lowered. Such as R5 units, which was oddly high.

Rebels have tweaked armor sets to fit their lore roles better. E.g. Marine troops were light troops with good blaster protection but bad kinetic. Battle Armor is stronger overall to fit its lore variant. Imperial troops will have bigger challenge now when Battle armored troops show up.

Lightsabers now have higher armor penetration, countered by tweaks to lightsaber-resistant armors.

- All Beak Things caged and exported off world to be be shot down by orbital laser. Kidding, they're still around.

Reminder:
(The Rebellion's limitations are acknowledged, essentially using leftover scraps most of the time to fight the empire. Remember, basic unarmored rebel troops will still struggle against Stormtroopers and armored Army troops.)

A skillful NPC or character is always more potent in fights. Jedi with level 100 skills, for instance, are terrifying opponents. Training takes time, but it's worthwhile and satisfying once completed.

Additional Notes
- Most changes seek to align performance with lore while maintaining game balance. Overpowered elements will be tweaked. (Please be aware that certain troops, due to their representation in lore, are significantly formidable and should not be underestimated.)
- Force wielder armor/robes may not be tweaked outside of boots in the future, due to the fact they need proper blaster resistance since there’s no such thing as dodging or blocking harpoon/blaster shots in this game.

Just checking, is this the mod that made the Power Cells and Slug Clips 10kg per?

@Butterface that's correct. I think the Melee range can be extended, similar to how the droideka works, but idk if it's tied to a simple value or if the entire "animation" has to extend, which makes it more difficult.

the attack range on the ATSTs is way to small. the attack at melee range is this because they cant be properly equiped with ranged weapons?

Posted it on the main mod page, but has anyone been able to get the Revan mod working with the main mod, or this mod?

It works with the Armour King, which unfortunately is overwritten in PK. Armour King currently sells the same items as other vendors, so I'm sure not going to miss it if the King sells other stuff.
