1. Take a look at Lidar Scanner 2
2. Lets not forget the multiplayer features: the number of players can be several times more than 2-3 people. During one scan, the game slows down slightly, but we want to make several players, right? This means that the computer will have to process more information(at least when players scan at the same time, especially the BURST scan). The addon already does everything it can to make the game as fast as possible. I even took the fast inverse square root function from Quake.
3. It will definitely be difficult. Because sounds can be created through entities. Or they can be created simply in 3D points. These are different bindings in the game and no one knows what addon 1 can do with addon 2 since they can overlap each other.
why not add settings for Full Scan Effect Versions, Currently, Full scan scans both the top down and the bottom up, Why not top to bottom, Bottom to Top, or other crazy full scan effect settings.
if you can't see other people's dots, Then why not just Split the Dot Limit per player when in Multiplayer(Potential Work around idea)
What if you add a setting to mute all game audio except for the Scanner
Are My Weapons Supposed to be invisible, because I Can't see them?
When I Hold Down C, I can't point the Lidar Scanner in the direction of my mouse.
You Can Make It A horror game. The original Lidar.exe Indie game had more then just being jump scared by the mystery figure, It had a feeling "Where am I, where am I going, what am I doing, what is this place?", Maps you know and recognize feel different with this because it makes you see them differently, giving off eerie vibes. To Really make it a horror game, Have a friend run around the map and let them do whatever they want to scare, creep out, or shock you.
Probably a Stalker NPC since it looks Slumped Down
if you can not then i understand, thank you!
