The National Training Center (NTC), located in Fort Irwin Washington, was activated by the US Government in 1980 to be used as a LSCO (Large Scale Combat Operations) training area for the US Military. It is ideal because of the area's rugged terrain and isolated area. It is 1000 square miles (2,600km), and much of the area has been built up to resemble certain areas of the middle east/africa. Many urban constructions were erected to simulate the urban warfare a soldier might experience. The area of NTC is very hilly and rocky, making it good for infantry and armor training.

The OPFOR (Opposing Forces) that a Rotational Training Unit (RTU) might face off against at NTC/JRTC are often referred to as "Geronimo). You will se this recurring theme throughout my NTC missions, as well as some potential Blue/Blue missions, such as UK vs US.

The map is not a faithful recreation of NTC, it is merely inspired by it. I am planning on using the map for various missions, and have designed it in a way that allows anyone who has the map to build very easy flowing missions all across the map. I have designed it similarly to the way that the NTC training areas are built, connected loosely by roads with small points of interest throughout the map. I will link all of my missions along with this map into a collection for you all to enjoy! Thanks for playing the map, please leave feedback here in the comments!

@Apocalypse it isn't a faithful recreation, just inspired by NTC's design and terrain. I've added the map alongside 2 missions so far to a collection, so check em out!

Nice. I can finally re-live the many times that I've had to seize Razish.
