The third in the megastructure series! A gargantuan space laser! It focuses all the light from a star into one concentrated beam the width of 100 planets. You can change the color of the beam (just a bunch of big engine effects) via the ship editor.

Positioning: This was designed to work with the sun, and similarly sized G-class stars. When using smaller or larger stars, use the position editor for accurate positioning. Press Shift-F2 when it is selected to open it.

To place, go to the surface of the desired star, point your camera towards it's center, and then build it using the spaceship menu in flight simulator.

Known Bugs:
- When far away, it and the beam will disappear (space engine limitation mostly)
-Laser only appears in HDR Mode

Yep, verified files to force steam to update the mods, and all seems to be working fine in-game for me, thanks for the update!

went ahead and updated the other two mods, so let me know if they work too, thanks! (I also made a space elevator mod which never got published, maybe soon?)

Alright, I've implemented the changes Tempest suggested (thanks!!) and it should be working now. Please give confirmation if it works, and if so then I'll go and fix the other 2 megastructure mods.
