Description

This is a simple mod that adds more than 230 bookmarks to the game, covering the time period from the beginning of the 1st century to the 14th century (plus 1453, 1470, 1490). However, some dates are unstable or unplayable. This is not a mod issue, but a game one. This version of the mod contains improved bookmarks and, therefore, slightly changes some vanilla game files, but it should still be compatible with the vast majority of mods besides those that change history files. Also, there's another version that adds starting dates only and compatible with either CK3 mods.

The main idea of the mod is maximum possible compatibility with game files and other mods. For this reason, I will not add an excessive number of features you might see in other bookmark mods. This gives you a smoother and more stable gaming experience.

One of the main features of Bookmarks+ is its extensive repository of ancient characters, dynasties, and titles that don't fit into the standard medieval setting of Crusader Kings 3. The mod focuses on developing dynastic lines, both historical and legendary, reaching deep into the roots of history.

The starting date of 1490 AD is now available, for which many thanks to the author of the original mod!

New DLC broke the mod, MANY SUCH CASES! However, I know that our WONDERFUL MOD AUTHOR will fix the mod and MAKE BOOKMARKS GREAT AGAIN!!!1 Indeed, he's going to do things that have never been done before, and these things- I KNOW ALL ABOUT DOING NEW THINGS, BELIEVE ME!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

you can integrate it with the RICE mod. It adds several new religions

@Royzea, the thing is, right now I have nothing to fill the regions of late Islamic expansion with for the early pre-Islamic dates, as this would require developing several elaborate religions, which I will try to do as much as possible and when I have free time.

@Cliodart, yes, I would like to fix this if I have enough time to work on it. This is usually caused by the Byzantine Emperor holding some title that has been hardcoded with a clan government, and unfortunately, tracking that down is not very easy across such a large time span.

yo i wounder if anyone pc can handle if they play from 5 ad to 1453 the end date because that would be something.

This mod is AWESOME! I absolutely love this, the other one adds to much to the game, so I prefer this version, btw do you know if this mod works with More Accurate Counts and Dukes, I tried it before and the heirs to a monarchy, (using this mod) had caliph and clan titles

Are there any plans to fix the Byzantine Empire being a clan realm? Is there a list of bookmarks where the Byzantines are administrative instead?
