About the model

This model has been created through my new work flow. This workflow is more detailed. This means it can also be used in first and third person games. This building has 17.1K tris and I scaled down the texture to 3072x1024. This model has a custom LoD, which is between 42 tris with a 512x128 texture, with a diffuse, specular, color and illumination map. A more detailed version can be attained through Patreon.

The model makes use of the rotor shader for the walkway roofs.

If you want this building added to your RICO buildings, add it in the settings menu, under growables. I recommend using the realistic population mod, this will calculate the amount of occupants in the building.


About the buildings
The Woodward Building was designed by Albert Kahn and built in 1915 for Jacob Siegel, a maker of women’s clothing. At one point the S.S. Kresge Company occupied one of the retail shops on the first floor and was eventually replaced by a shoe store.

In 2016 the building was renovated into a mix of retail and apartments, including a WeWork, Warby Parker, and lululemon
