Description
Version 3.1.48

Inter Caetera
"Inter Caetera" is the Name of three Papal Records confirming the Partitioning of the World between Portugal and Castile as defined by the Treaty of Tordesillas. As you might have already guessed from this naming, my Mod focuses predominantly on the Colonial Aspect of the Game but that is far from the only thing it does!
This project started as a collection of some of my favorite mods from the EUIV-Workshop so I wouldn´t have to subscribe to all of them individually. However, this soon became its very own thing with many changes implemented by myself with a focus on additions regarding Historical Accuracy, Colonialism and European Domination with some Ideas of how to improve Gameplay as well. If you like historical accuracy and colonization or maybe just a unique EUIV-Experience this mod is for you!

First up, this Mod should be played with all major DLC´s enabled (!) and in English Language since I also made some Localization Changes.
So what does this mod do?

Major Changes:
- Completely Overhauls Ideas
- Added a Tag for a new formable: The 'Iberian Union'
- Makes the AI more agressive and smarter and the Game therefore harder
- Adds Colonial Regions in Africa and Asia
- Subjects will take the same colour of your country
- Removes Natives to make Colonizing great again
- Changes the Age Bonuses Mechanic to that from "Ages Reformed"
- Rebalances Edicts
- Added the Cult Mechanic to Nahuatl, Inti and Mayan
- Local Organizations are availabe from the start and for more nations
- Removes Trade Company Regions
- Some Changes regarding Advisors
- Overhauled culture-groups to be more historically Accurate
- Reworked Hegemon Mechanic
- Encourages the AI to Colonize mostly only territories they owned historically
- Added some National Decisions
- Some Technology Changes (e.g. Fort Lvl. 4 available a little earlier)
- Colonial Parents are now called into wars of their Colonial Subjects
- Unique Colony Names for all Major Colonial Powers
- Some Changes regarding some Disasters

Aesthetic Changes:
- Map Graphics from "1356 - A Timeline Extension"
- Some Country Colour changes (Blue Portugal looks simply Disgusting)
- Province Borders from "Historical Worlds borders" - with some of my own Changes
- Better Terra Incognita
- Flags from "Updated Flag Improvement Pack" - with some of my own Changes
- Tech Pictures from "Platis Tech Pictures"
- Decision Pictures from "Platis Decision Pictures"
- Culture-specific Province Names for most Provinces
- Loadingscreens from "50 Loadingscreens"
- Event Pictures from "The Great Exhibition"
- Some other minor Changes

Enjoy playing! :)

Future Changes:
- Add more new Tags

What needs fixing (that I know of):
- Some Mission Trees that have to do with Trade Companies do not work properly

All Credit to the respective Authors whose mods i stole! If any author does not approve of me using their mod I´ll just private this project.

why were the muisca removed? the muisca in the early modern period were very organized and had actual states and a near feudal system

May I recommend looking into the (shamefully) abandoned mod "Complete colonial revamp" for inspiration? The creator did a lot of work in that direction, creating many colonial cultures for diverse tags, hope it's of any use for you! Thank you for your efforts!

Thank you @roxasvonbielefield! I have actually thought about this but am not quite sure how to implement it properly

Hi! i just wanted to make a request for new world cultures :) I would love to see many cultures popup across america depending on the origin culture, like, what would be more accurate than an italian Venezuela having venezziolan culture? Cajun culture for french louisina! chinese california because, why not? lol regardless of your answer, thank you for all your hard work! i love this mod!

Why is Portugese culture moved from Iberian btu Turkish still in Levantine? Silesia and Pomerania were mostly Slavic btw

As well, Somali, Beja and Afar being in a single group of their own, the Cushitic one, instead of the ones now labelled as Cushitic that are actually Ethiopic (pretty different thing Cushitic and Ethiopic, a relation similar maybe to Armenian and German while Beja, Afar and Somalians keeping a cultural distance between them similar to that of Italians, French and Portugueses)

And Farafreh and Bahriya could do great with Eastern Berber culture instead of Egyptian Arabic

if I could do a suggestion, Egyptiote it was really a small community in the 15th century, for sure not existing in Qus. As well Old Egyptian/Remenkemi/Coptic was a main culture in certain areas of Upper Egypt, specially in Akhmin (where it still today a relevant community), Qus in Middle Egypt and Sharqiya in Lower Egypt.

In that sense Old Egyptian make no sense neither in the Hellenic group neither in the Levantine one (which currently depics canaanite cultures). In that sense my suggestion would be the following:

Making Remenkemi ("Egyptian People" in Copt) a single group with 2 cultures based on languages, being those Bohairic (main Lower Egyptian language with official ecclesiastical roles), Sahidic (main Upper Egyptian language with official ecclesiastical roles as well).

Aswan could have Nubian culture -which would be the main one there I think-.

fair point @migueldeunha I now put the galician culture into the Lusitanian culture group but I think Occitan and Cataln together is a bit much. Also Lusitania is a formable tag now
