Description
This mod adds a total of 8 new non-summoning rituals, as well as a way to resummon Names if they are resting in the Mansus.

Rituals
This whole section is a description of what each ritual does. If you would like to discover them in game, do not read the spoilered lines. The mod should have a complete set of hints that guide the player toward new rituals, just like with the base game ones.
The Great Secret of Betrayal - an Edge-Secret Histories ritual that can turn a follower, an acquaintance or a hunter into a rival, but not always the one of your choice.
Thunderskin's Fortitude - a Heart-Secret Histories ritual that also requires a very rare Heart component, it can heal one scar on a follower.
Lionsmith's Spite - an Edge-Forge ritual that can destroy a lesson card that your Immortal Enemy has carelessly left on the board instead of grabbing it while they could.
Ritual of Refinement - a Secret Histories-Forge ritual that has to be initiated with a very specific Forge component, it allows you to change ingredients into more powerful ones.
Moldywraps's Embrace - a Heart-Moth-Secret Histories rite that also requires a very rare Moth component, it's a versatile ritual allowing you to get rid of Notoriety (and a Witness with SoA enabled), Evidence, lower followers Resentment or remove one random hunter specific trait from a Hunter.
Flowermaker's Revelation - a Lantern-Grail-Secret Histories ritual that requires a very specific Grail component, this ritual can exalt almost any of your followers... for a time at least.
Ritual of Wind Splintering - an Edge-Winter-Knock ritual that calls upon a perilous spirit to divide an influence, one should not invoke this rite without a good reason.
Chione's Silence - a Winter-Moth ritual that can clear the board of most mundane and lower order influences.
Resummoning - you can now try to resummon Names that are resting in Mansus after your previous summoning, they will require a proper offering, one should not risk making them angry. The Pine Knight from SoA cannot be resummoned since he has a very good excuse.
Most of the rituals that target a specific thing also require you to start the ritual without including it in the initial recipe, this is done for practical reasons as the rites are somewhat limiting in that respect.

Roost
If Roost is enabled, all rituals from this mod and base game, as well as all the summonings from this mod and base game have an added dynamic priority - even if there are other Principles that would normally interfere with specifc rituals from fireing, and making End is Beautiful to be selected instead. If that happens, just be sure that the primary Principle of the Ritual you are trying to perform is higher than the one you are getting preview of.

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with most of follower mods, including Unfamiliar Worshipers by Noicest Dungeon and Season of Acquaintances by SneakWorks, this mod should be place after them in mod loader. I cannot say it is fully compatible as I didnt test this mod with all of the relevant mods content nor with a lot of other mods that could potentially modify the mechanics used here/added their own ritual that would overlap with the ones used here. If there is an instance where this mod and another should be compatible and for some reason is not, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

The mod is also specifically compatible with Damage Attributes Instead by OtherPlayers and my mod should be placed after that mod in mod loader.

Future Development
I plan to change how Wolf-Splinter getting loose is implemented to something akin fight with an enemy Long, like in Apostle runs and with St Hydra in SoA., it's implemented as it is because I wanted to push out the mod and that part will take some more work. Im also open to ideas for new rituals, but they would have to not collide with existing rites and those added in this mod.

Credits
Ideas for the rituals were by me, Cfrone Emenies - Nktwoels (kaerfnomekop) and The Bingus, who is renewed (angra.mainyu) on Cultist Simulator community Discord Server.
Coding was done by myself with a little help from Gen, The Labyrinthine Architect (genroa) and Flinch (flinch3025) also from Cultist Simulator community Discord Server.
The one graphical asset I've used in this mod is from Exile: Betrayer's Map by SneakWorks.

Yes, if you used more Edge, or Thrilling Air instead of Dread, it would have worked still. The conflict between the ritual recipes is a base game issue. Its grows bigger with the amount of rituals.

Wow, that was amazingly fast. :) I can confirm that the issue no longer appears under the conditions I had in my game. If I understand correctly, then it should have worked even before the update if I had used more Edge (and the conflict between the rituals is by design and thus cannot really be solved), but I agree that the new solution seems better.

The issue should be fixed. The issue was with another Principle being present, the previous logic was that both Primary and Secondary Principles (except Knock) have to be higher then the rest. Now only Primary has to, and Secondary has to be at least equal to the other ones ones.

In the current (July 30th 2023) gateofhorn beta, this mod breaks summoning rituals if (but only if) the Roost is enabled, and your "something something ..." mod is also enabled. I'll put a more detailed description into the comments of the "something something ..." mod.

I was worried that my suggestion might not fit lore-wise and I definitely understand not wanting to dedicate that much work to it, just thought i'd mention an alternative. Thanks for responding, and I still look forward to seeing what you do in the future!

I see I hadn't considered using it on hirelings or multiple times that definitely open up the options a bit, thanks again

Doing it in that way would require a lot more work to account to every follower mod. And I would argue, not in the spirit of the Hour that is invoked. Either way, I dont want to commit to supporting mod compatibility with other follower mods to that extent.

There are also other ways to use it hireling are specifically not excluded, and each of the exalted knockoffs can be subjected to the ritual once again to gain 2 in their main stat and refreshing their timer .

Overall these are great rituals, most are useful and add a lot to the game. However I was a bit disappointed with Flowermaker's Revelation, basically sacrificing a follower for a generic version that doesn't even have a 10 in it's main aspect wasn't what I expected it to do. I'm still an amateur at the game so maybe I'm missing something but it just doesn't seem like it would ever be worth it.

If I could recommend an alternative maybe the ritual could actually exalt a follower but only for say 30 seconds , just enough time to do one or two things with them, and them puts them in a disabled state for 5 minutes, with a small risk of giving them a wound?

The other rituals are still great and I very much enjoy this and most of your other mods, and as I said I'm still an amateur so feel free to ignore me. Looking forward to seeing what you make in the future.

These are fantastic rituals. Chione's Silence and Lionsmith's Spite both saved my life a couple times, very creative and well-implemented.
