Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower is located at No.2 Jiefang South Road, quanshan district, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province, at the east foot of Phoenix Mountain. Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Pagoda is surrounded by cloisters and corner pavilions. The left and right sides of the tower base are reliefs in front of the People's Liberation Army and the People's Support; The tower is surrounded by a veranda, inscribed with the inscriptions of leaders such as Liu Shaoqi and Jiang Zemin and the list of more than 30,000 martyrs, and inlaid with large ceramic murals reflecting the Huaihai Campaign [1-2]. In October, 1986, Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower was approved by the State Council as "National Key Martyrs Memorial Building Protection Unit" [3]. On December 03, 2017, Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower was selected into the "Second Batch of 20th Century Architectural Heritage of China" list [4].
