In 1965, the Gorky Commercial Engineering Plant began mass production on the GAZ-52A chassis (later - GAZ-52-01) of the van - GZTM-893A (after the renaming of the enterprise, the van received the designation GZSA-893A). The production of GZSA-893A was discontinued in the second half of the 1980s.
