British Rail Class 56 (Livery Pack)

Description
This livery pack is the first for Tankslapper's new Class 56 model. It consists principally of the liveries from my four livery packs for Celmi's original Class 56 and a few others. Tankslapper's mod is required for this to work correctly.

These schemes are all fictional, but based on the liveries worn by other freight locomotives. In order to prevent any conflict with genuine class members, these are all numbered after the BR production run, beginning with 56136.

There are 20 locomotives included in this mod:

56136 - Intercity Swallow
56137 - Network SouthEast
56138 - Northern
56139 - Regional Railways
56140 - Yeoman (grey)
56141 - Yeoman (blue)
56142 - ARC
56143 - Hanson
56144 - Cappagh
56145 - Biffa
56146 - DB
56147 - Freightliner (G&W)
56148 - Freightliner (green)
56149 - Freightliner (grey)
56150 - Network Rail
56151 - Mendip Rail
56152 - Maritime
56153 - British Pullman
56154 - Grand Central
56155 - Two-tone green (Deltic)

This selection gives players a variety of traction on both freight and passenger services, with the freight colour schemes being derived mainly from Class 59 and Class 66 locomotives. Some licence has been used in accommodating the livery on the 56 body shape, especially with striped versions.

The British Pullman livery is taken from the Class 67 run on Belmond's services, with Grand Central's taken from the period of ownership by Arriva.

56155 is depicted in ex-works condition and in British Railways two-tone green as used on Tankslapper's and my Class 55 'Deltic' locomotives. I have added a nameplate to this model commemorating sixty years of the Class 55 since their entry into service in 1962; some entered into traffic in 1961, with the remainder of the class doing so in the following year.
