Actual Best Training Schedule - 1 match

Description
Yes I know it looks boring, but this is likely the best possible training schedule in FM.
I made it based on analysis by Evidence Based Football Manager, so all credit for that goes to him (the schedule itself is my own).

Attacking and Defending are the best sessions for attribute growth, so the schedule focuses on those.
Players are 100% happy with this schedule as well, which is nice.
For pre-season we add some Resistance to tire out players even more (and they would complain otherwise).

This schedule is for weeks with 1 match, I also have schedules for 2 matches and pre-season.

⚠️VERY IMPORTANT:⚠️
Set rest for all conditions to "no pitch or gym work", except for Excellent. That way, players that don't play matches will still get full training, while players that played will be rested.

Not sure why you post 4 comments when you didn't even read the description properly.
It says that my schedule is BASED on analysis by EBFM. I clearly state that it's my own schedule end not EBFM's schedule.

"Why use his name if you're not going to actually share his schedule ?"
Because I used his findings, so I should give him credit for that.
I just aggregated them differently, proritized different attributes and also took injury susceptibility into account, which is why my schedule looks somewhat different.

So TLDR:
Your comments are pointless because I never claimed that this is the EBTS schedule or that the EBTS schedule is the best.

Part 1 :
It's also worth noting that his schedule forgoes attributes entirely (Marking, Tackling, Positioning, Free Kick Tacking, Long Throws, Penalties, Jumping Reach) compared to the default sessions, in order to achieve a maximum amount of attribute gains in other categories, and maximum CA gain.
In fact these attributes grow LESS with this schedule, than if your players didn't train at all.

Part 2 :
One might actually prefer to have a maximum amount of attribute gain, whilst minimizing CA gain, as to have 'more room' for further development. Just a tought.
It also completely disregards Match buffs / Squad dynamics .
Unless I'm mistaken your claim about match practice not being significantly better is completely refuted in the actual video's / spreadsheets.
Also, your schedules aren't even close to the schedule that's actually proposed by EBFM ? Why use his name if you're not going to actually share his schedule ?

Part 3 :
All in all, his schedules are amazing in a "lab" environment, unfortunately they don't really work in the actual game, since some attributes are weighted much much much more heavily on the match engine than others :
https://fm-arena.com/table/18-attribute-testing/
Pace/Acceleration are so dominant, that they should be prioritized by any training.

Part 4 :

TLDR :
1) This isn't even EBTS
2) EBTS isn't the actual best

The reason I didn't include match practice is that it causes higher injury risk and higher fatigue while not really being significantly better.

If I'm not mistaken, Evidence Based FM also pointed out that "match practice" is even better to include, with the only fault being that you can only set it up twice

if I just have to set up eveything like in screen yeah it's probably because i don't make a lot of rotations
vflower  [author] Dec 22, 2022 @ 1:24am
You probably didn't set up rest correctly then. Or you're just making your players play too many minutes, they can't play 2 matches every week without any rotation, they will get jaded eventually.

I followed every step event the very important step and my players are always very tired and got a lot of injuries
