I am unable to use this as well.

This mod is outdated now and will break the game.

Good news everyone! I'm back and ill be updating my mods!
This one now works and can be unlocked by buying the heavy laser blaster tech.
I could add a new tech but i don't feel it necessary seeing as the basic PD is already unlocked at the beginning and this is a side-grade.
Let me know in the comments!
Also its worth it to use these ones instead of two vanilla ones.

can you update this to the newest version of cosmoteer please?

Would you say it's worth it to use these over the vanilla point defenses if you have the materials and space for it?
As in, is it better to have two point defenses side to side or one of these?

Can you make this a purchasable blueprint for campaign.

Yeah was thinking about doors to sides but then the question is. Doesnt it look very jank when there is a door on the same wall that a capacitor resides?

I would like to suggest to make it possible to add doors to sides.

For people who would like to change the mod to add doors to side:

- go to the mod folder ( point_defense_med ) ( you can do that from in-game Mods menu, right click-> show folder )
- open the rules file ( point_defense_med.rules ) with a text editor
- change the AllowedDoorLocations as below and save, reload the game:

AllowedDoorLocations
[
[-1, 1]
[0, 2]
[1, 2]
[2, 1]
]
- you can also move this mod folder to the Cosmoteer\Standard Mods to make it not affected by the updates and keep it persistent with your own changes.
