Papal States Flavor Pack

Description
Some flavorful changes and fixes for the Papal States.
  • The Roman Curia (devout) replace Moralist with Apostolic, and in particular now favor Theocracy over Monarchy.
  • The Intelligentsia replace Anti-Clerical with Scholastic, which favors education but isn't anti-religion (in vanilla, they lose Anti-Clerical but don't replace it with anything).
  • If the Pope is kicked out of Rome, an event chain starts where one can recreate the Papal States (or you can tell the Pope to pound sand).
  • Lazio has some buildings in it so that Rome is a city instead of empty countryside and the Papal States don't start at 100% tax loss.

the papal italy flag is used whenever italy becomes a theocracy. Even if it is formed as like Sardinia-Piedmont or something. it sucks because if you form italy as monarchist papal states (rome) then the flag chosen is normal republican flag.

There's a unique "papal Italy" flag defined in the files, though I don't know if it works.

It should be compatible with anything that doesn't also change the Papal States' history.

honestly seems pretty small and thats really good for the papal states. how compatible would this be with other mods because I dig it
