Description
The FMInside Real Club name fix will change the fake club names in Football Manager 2023 to their real life names. This file will change the long name, short name, three letter name and nicknames of thousands of clubs in Football Manager 2023.

IMPORTANT - To use this file a new save game is needed. This will NOT work in an existing save!

IMPORTANT 2 - Japanese Club Names

In order to activate real names for Japanese clubs you will have to remove the nleague file from the database folder in your Football Manager installation folder.

Windows:
\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2023\data\database\db\23xx\lnc\all

MAC OS:
/ Users / username / Library / Application Support / Steam / SteamApps / common / Football Manager 2023 / data / database / db / 20xx / lnc / all

I really enjoy this, thanks! Is there any chance that you can change Borussia Dortmund in the future? There is no need for a 6 letter name but a 3 letter name (BVB) would suit the overall experience more than the current state. There are other german clubs that could use an overhaul as well, because when you are ingame, the interviews, games and press cionferences are sometimes a bit odd with the names of the clubs. Still glad that someone is taking the time to make these changes and I'm very aware of the fact that people could find it hard to know all the right names

@cerrberus - In that case you didnt follow the steps correctly. I am looking at the Jleague as we speak and ALL names are as they should be.

Thanks for the feedback m8! And yes. Long names are the official names, short names are the more known names like AC Milan :)

Works perfectly! All names work and the real names, not just (example): AC Milan, it is Associazione Calcio Milan
