Super Huge Mapsizes

Noticed indeed that the 1050 was at it max.

Wow, with a 1050 I'd be very hesitant to recommend any of these bigger mapsizes. Ludicrous is around 4 times the tile count of base game biggest map.

Started the Ludicrous map, noticed the game with his map uses 21gb memory at startup. CPU is low. Used the sea map. Pitty there doesnt seem to be a real original map from those days. The GPU is at 98 procent, but it is an old 1050 ti.

Wait, found it. In advanced mapsize9after chosing a leader), i had to change premade map into random map. there can i cahnge the map size.

Many thanks for the reply Dale, but where can i find the Map Size. When starting a new game, choosing a leaders, i see many map options, but not size.

@Enkidoe, when setting up a new game, change the map size.

I subscripted to the map, enabled it in the game. Whats next? Hopw to chose one of the big maps?

I'm using beta build and can confirm that I am using 10 opponents with this and 7 other mods. Switch to beta, it's easier to narrow down what mods are conflicting because you get red error messages, some of which are benign, but usually only the yellow errors are benign, then delete mods as required until you only have error messages in yellow or even none at all.

I've been using this mod quite a lot, it's really great!

Ever since I updated to the newest version, though, I often get the following error:

"Failed to generate a new game, please try different settings"

Is there any known issue or interference with other mods that could cause this? Or an upper limit for number of players above which the game can't create a map? Back when I was on version 5 of the mod, I could easily start a game with 10 players, now anything above 7-8 seems to crash the map if I pick any super sized map size.

Could also be an update to the main build causing this, would really appreciate if you could look into this.

This is probably my favourite mod, If you have the time I have a big request, I doubt that too many people use the ludicrous mod, but maybe I'm wrong. what I would kill for though is a map size between super huge and gigantic, pretty please with a maraschino cherry on top.
