UPDATES: 10.09.2022: - adding elevated version - reduced costs

With the DLC Airport release in January 2022, a free "update function for trees on networks" was added in the base game. This great feature makes it possible to swap trees on roads. You get more diversity on networks with trees!

Unfortunately, the developers have not provided a network with which you can build hedges in a circle or in a line, for example.

The Bush Fence Network uses this great feature.

The network consists only of bushes, which are arranged in a row to form a hedge. Away from networks and modifications, it is possible to build "bush" hedges. Don't like the new bush in the game? Then update your built hedge with another favorite bush! Choose your favorite bush and click on your built network. The bushes are replaced. :-)

Upgradable with other bushes
Flexible network (requires no modification)
Terrain conforming (ground version)

Of course you can replace trees instead of bushes. However, the distance between the bushes in this network is very small. Accordingly, only bushes should be used!

Where can I find the network?

You can find the network in the landscape menu under the tab water structures.
You will not find this network under the Fences/Walls tab.

Please note:

Of course there are many great modifications in the workshop that achieve the same result. Worth mentioning would be the awesome Tree Anarchy Mod or the awesome Intersection Marking Tool Mod (IMT). This network is intended for players who use very few mods.

Game Limits: Networks also have many game limits.
Therefore, you should use this network sparingly.

Everything's ok. Sometimes there are things that are not so easy :) Create an elevated segment (this tells the game: not a ground version) and then you can move it with Move-It.

With the Network Anarchy Mod you can also turn a ground segment into a "bridge segment".

Actually I'm probably being dumb. I'm not thinking of them like roads. I'm creating a segment and then trying to raise with Move It. So that's creating the ground version which I bet is my issue. Nevermind, thanks again!

Hmm, yeah I was trying, lol. I couldn't get them to budge, that's what made me think there was a separate version. I'll try again though, thanks!

The elevated version is not available separately.

To get an elevated version, you simply have to go up (like roads). :-)

@Wiwi Sorry, but for the life of me I can't find the elevated version. I can find the conforming version in the vanilla water tab and in Find It. I've tried different searches and it remains elusive. Is this definitely a "me" problem?

EDIT: Find It only shows the conforming version when filtering by "asset creator", and LSM is only showing the one network in the asset list. I'll try unsubbing->resubbing in the meantime.
