It's like a painter copying a master's work. But you can see clear differences. I could not reproduce the road axes and angles exactly. Therefore, for example, the main park is a bit too small. The waterfront promenade is not true to the original. The helicopter landing pad is missing (see pictures 1 and 2).
The slopes of inhabited hills are often too steep because I have not smoothed them enough.
"Rebuilding" the city was a lot of fun and I learned a lot.
It's not a copy of a file, it's a copy of the C:S City Newport. It is about 300 hours' work.
First: This save is not a copy of your original file. I completely designed "your" Newport myself based on your video on YT and the pictures in steamcommunity. The basis was only your map Bay of Plenty. The result is very similar to "your" Newport. But a lot is improvised, since a 100% reproduction with C:S is of course hardly possible.
I would be very happy if you would upload your original Newport to the workshop!!!! I am sure that it would be an important contribution to the workshop in terms of design, inventiveness and detailed solutions.
