Yet another scarry PNG VTF Texture to run away from...

A QUICK RUNDOWN:
Normal Mode aka Quandale Dingle aka Sanic aka Obunga:
  • It always knows where You are (there is a max distance),
  • Acts like a Sanic clone, lol
Lore-Friendly Mode:
  • If not observed, will try to find a cozy spot to rest.
  • It will chase the Player/NPC unless one hides for a certain amount of time.
  • It will relocate itself around the map.
  • After catching up with its prey, it will enter a docile state again if nothing or no one has been observed during the deed.
  • Player or NPC attacks it (if They deal enough damage, Smiler will retreat).
  • If in agro mode but not seen, Smiler will sneak up on its prey.
  • It can break doors (if You encounter any issues, set npc_br_smiler_break_doors to 0).
Almond Water:
  • Single-time use consumable that will scare off Smilers and prevent incoming toxin/poison/neurotoxin or reduce any other damage by 50% (ONCE).
Smiler stays docile until enraged when these conditions are met:
  • Player/NPC gets in the required range,
  • Player/NPC is seen by the Smiler,
  • Player/NPC breaks the line of sight with the Smiler while in his line of sight,
  • Player/NPC moves away too quickly. If the player moves faster than his slow walk speed (ALT + MOVEMENT KEYS), for NPCs this system is still being worked on,
  • Player turns on his flashlight,

WARNING! Carry on reading! Or you will die, even if you only looked at the word warning! Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More- government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best of your life.
