Compact Braided Interchange (Mass Transit)

Description
This is a compact version of my Braided 4-Way System Interchange that is designed to connect two highways and was inspired by the old I-95 and 695 Interchange east of Baltimore. The interchange was reconfigured in 2008 to a traditional 4-level stack to accommodate toll lanes and no longer exists, but there are still a few remaining in the world.

This free flowing interchange is a slight modification of the "Diverging Windmill" and the DCMI. The main difference is that this braided interchange features directional turns as opposed to the semi-directional turns found on the Diverging Windmill, ie., right turns exit from the right lane and left turns exit from the left lane in this configuration. This results in left turns that are not as sharp, allowing for theoretically higher throughput.

This configuration boasts many of the same advantages:

Grade separated, resulting in a free-flowing interchange with a minimal number of conflict points.
Proper lane math with no weaving.
Only 2 levels of grade separation, resulting in lower maintenance costs and shallower slopes.
Gentle curves to retain maximum vehicle speed at all times.
Gorgeous visuals (in my opinion).

Disadvantages:
By making this more compact version, the slopes are still pretty steep and some of the angles are a bit weird.
Straight through traffic has a slightly longer path and loses a small amount of efficiency compared to a traditional stack due to the double crossover.
Left-turning traffic merges into the "fast" lane, which can result in decreased safety.

Traffic Manager: President Edition is recommended to ensure cars merge into the proper lanes, but it is not necessary. Pure visual improvements can also be made via Node Controller Renewal and Intersection Marking Tool. However, these are not necessary to the functioning of this interchange.

for some reason, this makes me think of the I-59/I-65 interchange in Birmingham

I used to drive through that interchange every day on my way home from work. Moved away in 2004 so thats why google earth looks stranger than I remembered it.
