@Toaster Bath Yes it works perfectly fine with ACE from my testing and doesn't affect anything that should break ACE.

does it work with ACE?

@Thahat It is already wall-mountable. You just have to make sure to click on the wall rather than a horizontal surface to make it wall mount. Also personally I put it 2-4 blocks down from the top of the chimney to hide the emitter itself.

If putting it in on an existing building you just need to place some ladders to give access. If it's in a blueprint the villagers will figure it out just fine.

if the creator of this wants a suggestion: you could make the emitter wall mounted? like a tapestry (if it isnt already?) then it doesnt need a block and you can have a straight line, functional fireplace (so you can still see the glow if a fireplace is on inside the house) just make it like a stone collored pixel or something

Yeah it might work better to put there on a block inside of the chimney instead because i dont think they provide any fireplace lights either so might be better as a combo

@banto could probably even mix the two, i made the nordling mod stuff go up because of chimnees, but you could put one of these near the top of a chimnee to get the sideways vibe

Nice work though I wish it would actually be smoke that may cause monsters to suffocate or at least have blurry vision debuff and not just cosmetic.

Definitely sub!

Gonna give this one a short. I already use fireplaces from Nordling Mod to create smoke but this smoke looks a bit different. less straight and more flowing outside with the wind :) ?

Nice! I wanted to do something similar - guess I don't have to anymore :D

Good work!
