Welcome to Stellaris-France Custom Maps mod !

This mod overhauls the game to is very core and allows you to play Stellaris like Starcraft or Age of Empires II.
You have also the opportunity to play Custom Scenario with your friends in coop or against the game itself.

We basically implemented a mod that offer you to play any map you want !

1) Core Aspects
================

The mod offers custom maps we design in order to break the native randomness nature of Stellaris.
You will no longer play on a randomly generated Galaxy, but on maps with fixed features, systems and placements.

What can you expect ? :
-----------------------

- No Anomaly (Besides origins related ones)
- No Dig Site (Again, besides origins')
- No Fallen Empire, Marauders, Enclaves and so on...
- Fixed planets, fixed systems, etc...
- Fixed maps, symmetrical or not, for 1v1, 2v2, and so on ! There's even a 10v10 right now if you want to set up matches between whole communities !
- Several Origins cannot be played (I.E. AI generating origins, or some non-sense like Galactic Doorstep)
- Tons and tons of fun, theorycrafting and replayability.

What's that mod for then ? :
----------------------------

- 1vs1 between 2 people
- Team matches for fun !
- Custom Scenarios you definitely wanna check :) (Like Dungeon Crawling, Defense against the Crisis and so on !)

How does it work ? :
--------------------

Without getting too technical, this mod simply rewrites the Game Start procedure and ensure you will spawn at a precise place with a precise setup.
Simply :

- Choose your spawn
- Select your game mode and your victory conditions
- Set up Mid game and late game dates and voilà, you're good to go !
- Let pass 3 days for everything to be set up correctly.

Note that Game mode, dates and so on have to be set by the Host.

On regular maps (Vs maps), Empires usually start isolated from each others.
Mid game : Hyperlanes are generated to connect the empires and start war.
Late game : More hyperlanes and wormholes ! Don't be backstabbed !

Any issue ? :
-------------

Yes, they are some technical limitations.
For the most part, they have been taken into account and workarounds have been set :

- Some Empires have special homeplanets and keep their guaranteed planets, the game will ask you to set your planet class again to set things up.
- You have to pass 3 days after all the set up is done.

2) Game Modes
==============

1v1 : A simple match between 2 players, the winner is the one who stays alive. Any player may concede the game through the Edicts menu.

Team v Team : A Team match :) You can either play as a Federation, or a Feudal Superpower, each Captain will then be Overlord of the others !
The game will ask you in which team you want to play.

Note that there are alternate Victory Conditions for you to test out :)


PvE : We have the ability to create powerful Single Player (or PvE) maps ! Each map should be specific !
Currently, our pride is the Quasar : A PvE Map where you have to defeat enemies as fast as possible !
The difficulty can be increased and enemies become stronger after each system !

We have a strong community on Stellaris France around this map and some players already spent countless hours trying to optimize the thing !
You may want to join them on the leaderboard !

3) How to play
===============

Simply subscribe, download, load the mod in a playset and go.
We recommend you do not add too much mods with it.

Note that UI mods are perfectly compatible.

All Maps are available in the "Galaxy Size" menu when you create a New Game.
The numbers in parenthesis indicates the number of players that can play the map.
