Description
Various tweaks and additions for the ore build. Overall goal is to de-emphasize Geologist (though she's still quite strong) and give this build more options for succeeding without a specific Rare symbol.

Compatible with I Heard You Like Ores.

- Changes to existing symbols and items -

Miner: Makes adjacent Mines give twice as many coins.

Geologist: Can't destroy ores on her own, has to rely on a Miner for assistance.

Kyle the Kernite: Boosts anything a Miner can mine, in addition to Shiny Pebbles. Note - As of LBAL's 1.0 release patch (Jan 6, 2023) the base game version of Kyle already affects both Ore and Big Ore, but I've decided to leave them in the mod for the sake of compatibility with I Heard You Likes Ores and other mods that affect "minerlikes"

Golem: Reskinned as Dynamite. Gives 1 coin instead of 0.

- New symbols and items -

Golem: Uncommon symbol, gives 2. Prevents adjacent symbols from being destroyed. Gives 2 more coins, once per spin, if adjacent to any ore.

Geode: Uncommon symbol, gives 2. Adds 1 small ore when destroyed. Basically an equivalent of Peach for the ore build.

Pearl Necklace: Common item. Removes all Pearls whenever they appear on the reels and puts them into this item. Destroy it at any time to get 8 coins per stored Pearl.

Pearl Necklace Essence: Removes all Pearls whenever they appear on the reels and puts them into this item. After removing 12 Pearls, it destroys itself and gives 120 coins

Appraiser: Very Rare symbol, gives 4. Destroys adjacent *Rare* gems (Ruby, Emerald, Amethyst) and gets a permanent 1.2x multiplier per gem.

Ground Penetrating Radar: Rare item. Makes Miners give double coins, gives them a 5% chance to add a Mine, and you can sacrifice the item to add a Geologist.

Ground Penetrating Radar Essence: Also makes Miners give double coins, but destroys itself when an ore gets destroyed.

Honestly When I tried using this mod I found the game actually harder since my slot will clutter up faster and saw that the base game is just sure rng but its a slot machine game what did you expect.

Idk if this is the mod that's giving me the issue; but each Ore i destroy would only give Geodes, then the geodes spawn ores when they're destroyed by geologist, rinse and repeat infinitely. Im looking into whats going on, but im pretty sure its another mod thats fucking this one up. (Love the mod btw)

Dynamite isn't affected by Time Machine despite the item description saying so.

Yes, I wanted it to feel like you're *making* the necklace, adding one pearl at a time as you receive them, and then if you're short on rent you have to hastily sell it.

The one thing I wish there was extra in this was an analogue to the Gourmand from the Fruit Tweaks, something like an Emperor or Collector who takes all gems except common ones. Gems and Fruit have been made two similar tracks, though each has its own specific features. Towards the endgame and into endless mode, it's likely for the player get a lot of rarity boosters, which can cause seeds and ores to give rare and very rare results more often. The Gourmand makes a great solution to this for fruits, destroying most (but not all) fruits and giving a commensurate reward to their rarity. But there's no similar solution for accruing tons of rare and very rare gems in the endgame, which lowers the long-term viability of gem-based builds.

Geode is an Uncommon gem therefore Geologist destroys it. This mod nerfs Geologist pretty hard, so I figured I could throw her a bone.

Had a very good run getting pearl necklace as the first item, then xray machine, and then 2 dynamite. Played this with I heard you liked ores and it was very good.
