Description
You have to subscribe to the SCMaglev Track.

The SCMaglev system was developed in Japan and is currently under construction on the Chūō Shinkansen line (中央新幹線) between Tokyo and Nagoya.
Unlike the German maglev system (Modern MAGLEV track) which floats continuously, the Japanese technology uses superconducting magnets (SC) - hence SCMaglev - to lift the train. Since lift occurs at a minimum of 180 km/h, the train uses rubber wheels at lower speeds.
This system does not only improve the vehicle stabilization, but also allows far greater speeds above 600 km/h.

I recommend using it as a through station rather than a terminal station. It looks weird when the maglev train crosses the tracks. Circular lines are better.

It is a variation of my Liège-Guillemins Train Station, which is a train station in Liège, Belgium. It is part of the high speed corridor between Paris and Düsseldorf frequented by the Thalys and ICE trains. It was opened to public in 2009 and designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Check out his collection: Santiago Calatrava Collection.

Hi! Using this station connected to other same station otther end of my map, inscribed in a loop, I see numerous trains but all of them have no passengers. They both have bus terminal beside stations and are within populated areas with lots of businesses and factories. Why no passengers?

Hi! Sorry for the late answer - I haven't really been active during the months April-September.

I know that Algernon is working on a mod that will enable outside connections with custom train track. But my track is obviously a monorail track. So it won't work.

Consider my track as a normal monorail track. Since it is based on a monorail template, the game treats it completely as a different network than a train track, e.g. it is as incompatible to connect to a train track as a metro track to a train track. Even though they look visually similiar. The only thing that matters is the "core" of the asset.

In other words - it is no problem to use the train track template as a "core" for this SC Maglev track. It is just a lot of work to create a new network again.

About passenger use - I believe that Cims actually prefer monorails (and metros) over trains. Shouldn't be an issue.

@Nickayz I'm wondering if citizens will ride into the map on rail, get off the train and walk across the street to the SC Maglev Crossing Station and board the SC Maglev train?

Alternatively, I'm wondering if I can connect the SC Maglev track to a standard monorail/rail station?

Thank you, in advance, for your thoughts.

@Nickayz Thank you for sharing your fine work with the workshop. I am confronting a situation using your assets and wondered if you would be willing to help me think them through.

In an 81 tile map, I am attempting to use the SC Maglev for all passenger train transport and standard rail for all cargo transport. Attempts to create an outside connection with the SC Maglev tracks (or any kind non ground rail system) have failed. I assume this is a function of the game. The "any road" and "unlimited outside connections" mods have no effect in this instance.

My next approach is to make the outside connection with rail, TM:PE it for passenger only, and connect it to a station near the edge of the map where, theoretically, travelers will transfer to the SC Maglev to complete their journey into the city center. The SC Maglev Crossing Station appears unable to act as a hub in the way that your Train-Metro-Maglev hub does.
