Description

Introducing, Little Beast! Daughter of the monstrous mark of the endtimes, this little sweetheart isn't here to cause chaos and destruction, or represent any sort of deep-rooted issues Isaac may have with his family's relationship and how they tie into the grand tapestry of religion.

No, Little Beast is a friend to Isaac! If she senses Isaac is in danger, Little Beast will spring into action, using her powerful lungs to draw forth flames from Hell itself. Much like her mother, Little Beast has a bit of a weak stomach, and excess flame vacuuming could result in a massive laser tearing through your foes. Sounds pretty good, but it makes her feel a bit queasy.

Can be found in Devil Deals in regular and Greed Mode! (Also Baby Shops)

Best used alongside Sacrifical Altar Compatibility for Modded Familiars, or else sacrificing Little Beast won't work quite right.

Compatible with EID and Encyclopedia!

Known Bugs:
- Broken Modem affects Little Beast's flames. (possibly unfixable)

Honestly I didn't really know about the Sewing Machine mod until recently, but that is a good idea! When I get the free time I'd like to look into that sometime soon.

I highly recommend this mod to anyone looking for an actually good familiar in this game. the design and gameplay mechanics are incredible and def worth the download

@Ephyra Thanks for the bug reports! These are super tough to fix thanks to API limitations, but I'm working on potential fixes now. For now, I just pushed an update to make this mod compatible with Sacrificial Altar Compatibility for Modded Items , which works just fine. I'd like to not rely on multiple compatibility mods in the future, but this is how things are for now.

As for the Broken Modem bug, I'd prefer to fix it since it seems like a super lame anti-synergy, but the fix will be tough. The only fix I can think of would involve rewriting how Little Beast's flames work entirely, which I'm willing to do, but it could take time. Thanks again for the reports!

Another thing I just noticed on the same run, Broken Modem seems to be deleting the fires from little beast. This isn't necessarily a thing that needs to be fixed, it's just an anti-synergy that you may or may not want to keep in, depending on what you think of it.
