Succeeded after some fails. My advice
-graphic settings to low. game still pretty. was struggling with performance issues before
-be profitable from beginning. otherwise you run out of money fast.
-build train station close to city centers, harbors and factories. some demolition needed. Like this you can avoid road vehicles getting stuck in traffic
-start on one side of the world (italy/brazil doesent matter), wait until you are profitable, move on to other side
-start with a triangle train layout: Guharulos - Franco de Rocha - Sao Paulo OR Aversa farm - Pozzuoli - Napoli
-avoid ships. not profitable
-pay back dept before moving on, bcs some new lines cost a lot
-delivery chains: make sure the chain is complete from the very start to the very end. sometimes road vehicles cant be avioded. if not complete, goods will not flow
-immigrants: use cargo train platforms, cargo road stations AND passenger vehicles
