Description
Swiss catenary mod V2

Includes masts as assets and various tracks with Swiss masts.
Both normal and in a 5.5m version (e.g. for metre gauge tracks) and a 5m version (for mount Rigi railway).
2 additional rust levels can be selected.

The tracks correspond to the normal standard and high-speed tracks.

This mod does not change the vanilla catenary masts!
To change them, you need the extension "Swiss catenary extension for all tracks".

For the pictures, the masts were placed by hand, as the automatic placement is rather poor.

@Cule729: Okay, now i understand the problem and found it. Hopefully the now released update will fix the problem. Take care, f1rnen

It only happen with the extension mod enabled as i like to use it with the standard tracks.
So 3 tracks or more the masts float as they have no concrete socket.

It's no big deal for me as i just upgrade on track with the FL 140 to correct it.
I will from now on on new saves not enable the extension mod
Also i have a screenshot : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3371837067

@Cule729: Sorry, i cant reproduce your error. Do you have the newest version of my mod?
What exactly are you building so that the sockets are missing afterwards (which tracks or which mast asset)?
Cule729 Nov 19, 2024 @ 9:40am
When i build 3 tracks or more now the masts float. They did not do that before.
I use your extension mod and that is when it's happen. If i specific choose FL 140 it does not happen. It seems when using standard tracks with Swiss extension the masts have no concrete socket now.

Great mods and i have been using them for years now

Use the [ or ] button. Same as. But if you go too far in one direction, it will change direction [come back on yourself]. @brianswart112005

Can you bring back the offset buttons in the asset buildmenu? It is not possible to place them perfectly while they are snapping with the track.

One gets used to one way of doing things [after so many hours playing the game] and I'm getting old [61] and changes can be annoying. lol
I will give the new way a go for the moment. It says in the description ü and + keys but they don't do anything on my UK keyboard. The "c" and "[ ]" work.
Maybe both ways is possible? lol

That is intentional to reduce the amount of masts in the menu.
BUT: You can press 'c' during the placement an it wont snap.
Maybe i can bring it back if some more people want it...

I realise you have the "c" and [ or ] options. Just a bind having to press the "c" button when doing fine placements. Ok never mind.

Nice update and thanks.
But I have a question: There used to be a free placement masts [one for each category], now only the three fixed one's are there. Is this intentional, as I used them often especially over junctions.
Also there is no 'free placement' option for the 5.5m masts either.
