Welcome to "Choose Your Dynasty" mod!

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your beloved heir died in a hunting accident and your old monarch took his last breath? Leaving succession to a local noble whose dynasty name is so lame that you would rather let your biggest rival annex you than let him rule?

Or maybe you’ve always dreamed of calling an election upon discovering that your heir is a 0/0/0 craven while your king is already 80 years old?

Perhaps you wanted to create a role-play scenario in which the Byzantine Empire is brought back to glory by the descendants of the Julio-Claudian dynasty?

If so, this mod may be just for you! It lets you choose your dynasty or call an election with a simple decision — just click and pick whatever dynasty you want from the list!

Not Ironman compatible.

Done! If I did everything right it should be ok. Please let me know if the namespace is correctly added now.

I think it works fine until the other mod is also lacking the namespace on top of the event chain. I was also confused about the fact that some mods collide with each other without shared game files.

Really? I’ll look into it then. I’ve never run into any trouble with my mod, even when playing with a huge mod collection. I even tried it with Anbennar once, and it went flawlessly (at least I think so). Still makes me wonder what exactly could have gone wrong with my Aelnar run back in the day. XD

Hi. It's a great mod

Sometimes I see that your event "choose_your_dynasty_events" collides with other mods.

It looks like choose_your_dynasty_events.txt should have "namespace" (e.g. namespace = choose_your_dynasty_events and changing the event for sth like choose_your_dynasty_events.1) to avoid the collision with other mods.
