Can confirm, SpawnDronesFromEarth now has a return value, and this mod replacing it breaks RocketBase, especially funny when starting a new game and all that is left are drones and rovers :)

This mod is broken after most recent game update. rockets instantly disappears back to earth once it drops off it's 'entity' cargo (drones, rovers etc.). prefabs do not get registered and don't show up as delivered in build menu. Once this mod is removed, the rockets work normally again.

I've noticed the same as Pectus, but I think it's the game keeping the rocket in "expedition" mode and not returning to regular mode. Pretty sure it also happens without any mods installed. Rocket returns from an expedition and doesn't show how many drones it controls or the level of rare metals, etc. Those display sections are just not there. In those situations the packing buttons don't display, but pretty sure it's a game bug and not related to the mod.

It doesn't work when a rocket which is assigned to drone-needed planetary expedition comes back to my colony.
