This mod has now been integrated into the “Forgotten Empires” mod! What that means to you? Nothing if you enjoy the look and feel of this mod please continue to use it. I wanted to leave these open for just that. I don’t want to mess with anything you got going on.

However, I have joined all my mods into in order to have a sole focus. I will update these as time permits. I wanted to make not only my mods stackable but also play nice with other cool things coming out. Except cheat mods.. well some cheat mods, I don’t know play at your own risk. Your saved games may or may not be compatible. I suggest you start new but I played some previous saves and was ok I am not saying this will be your experience. Sorry for the inconvenience for convenience haha.

Rise Of Sparta – Updated 10/23/20

This is a mod I been working on for fun but decided to release it. It is not fully complete I plan to work on the Spartan Academy a lot more but I just wanted to put this out there. Hopefully I get some good ideas, I still have not fully modified the graphics either in some parts.

This is my first mod so I am still learning a lot during this process. If you like it great if you don’t then I’ll just keep working this on my own.

Agoge :
Children will be sent to the Agoge automatically at age 7. Also adding in some events during their training.

The survival rate is pretty slim but you get a great rewards if they make it through.

Spartan Course:
Adults can be sent to the spartan academy to improve their skillset however it depends on their learning & general abilities on how well they will do.

Krypteia:
Work in progress, provides additional commands to execute and has its own bonus.

Envoy:
Still working diplomatic functions menu, will add more commands for those countries out of diplomatic range.

Co King:
In addition to the bonuses his opinion will affect your decisions and visa versa.

10/17/20 - Whats new

In Sparta women actually inherited all the land of their husband by law. A female preference is more likely i am still working out a few things but women can hold titles except for kingship ( still working this). Women also were not shunned for adultery actually the men didn't care at all because they feared not having another kids to grow the population. Although women can hold titles they cannot go into war as a combatant.

10/23/2020

- Updated Agoge is now automated meaning all spartan hellenic kids will enter the agoge on their 7th birthday. So if they arent in there now I guess your kids are hosed my bad. But good news I left the option to send them in there just incase! for now..

The change to the code might cause some issues to the people saved games. However! I have made a decision available that finds all the kids that arent progressing in the agoge due to error and puts them into their appropriate step! :) If nobody is in the list your kids were not effected.

-Also minor code changes (cleaning) and graphical things. I look back at this as my first project and I was sooo messy haha. Have fun, still adding more.

- 1 more thing, added modifier to remove agoge effects, everyone was drinking themselves to death and dying of stress lol
