Description
Hello Aviators!

Let me present a brand NEW six-pack of variety and options for your in-game air transportation ;)


- DIRT AIRSTRIP : narrow DIRT runway with lights (great for desert climate where you can't plop grass airstrip), no taxiway, space for maximum 2 modules, available 1920

- CONCRETE AIRSTRIP --> : narrow CONCRETE airstrip with white runway markings & lights, no taxiway, only 2 modules, available 1940

- CONCRETE AIRSTRIP <-- : narrow CONCRETE airstrip with white runway markings & lights, no taxiway, 2 modules, available 1940, right landing direction!

- ASPHALT AIRSTRIP : narrow ASPHALT airstrip with white runway marking & lights, no taxiway, only 2 modules, available 1945

- ASPHALT AIRFIELD+ : small airfield with ASPHALT runway, white runway markings, runway & approach lights, space for 5 modules, available 1945

- SMALL AIRFIELD <-- + : small airfield with CONCRETE runway, white markings, runway & approach lights, 5 modules, available 1945, right landing direction!


PLEASE NOTE:
You can mix ALL modules from Small and Large Airfield, GA Airfields and (NEW) City Airport! Flexibility and compatibility all the way. ;) All airfields and airstrips have NEW custom icons in the menu. Also 1,3Mb... so no impact on your computer resources ;)

I'm not sure if the most recent stable build 35304 might have made some changes in how the game reports..? Albeit a blank loading report on this occasion.

There is even a new build....
Version 35312 (April 21, 2023)
Improved debug output: Added out of memory info (Vulkan)
Improved debug output: Added save game complexity info
Fixed memory leak when building infrastructure

Hello! Sorry to hear that there are some issues with Airfields Pack - I am travelling tomorrow until next week so I can't have a look at it right now but when I am back I will check what the issue is. That said I have activated all my airports on a clean game after the update and never got any blank loading report notice. Hope you can wait and I'll have a look at what you describe when I'm back! Thanks for reporting! ;)

I then add Airstrips & Airfields Pack and I then get that blank loading report notice. If I remove that one and then add GA Airfields I also get that message.
I do ensure that either of the above also load with the City Airport mod also being used, that is a requirement.
Using just the City Airport mod and all is well. It is the airfield type ones tha tare being used that seem to cause the issue.

Hi

Thanks for all the work you have done with your mods. I am finding an issue and to try and eliminate what it could be I started a Free game with minimal mods and to eliminate them one at a time.
The issue is, might not be too important, is I get a black loading type warning when certain mods of yours are used.....

I absolutely can use

Alternative International Airport and then the AIA - Modern Terminals. No issues.

BUT.........................

I would love that too... - however my knowledge of this game mechanic isn't that advanced. That said I can ask the TpF2 community. I guess because the game is money-based and planes have to be efficient the creators never thought of making those - while ships can avoid shorelines the planes can't avoid mountains... I'll see what I can find out!

I was wondering if it was possible to create a waypoint (i.e. radio beacon) system so that you could route a plane to a certain location so they could circle around residences or mountains.

I know in real life we use radio signals to route traffic and TF2 has waypoints for trucks/buses--but these are different than planes.
