Hinoka Voice Pack (Rochelle)

Description
IMPORTANT!!!!
If sounds are cutting off, that may be because I updated this addon. Simply re-subscribe and type in console on the main menu "snd_buildsoundcachefordirectory ../custom" so that longer sounds may play completely.

Finally, my voice pack was able to upload!

I was surprised i was able to get as many lines as I did using ONLY lines from Fates, there's a little under 400 ones replaced. I hate taking up room by listing everything replaced, so I'll say most of the voice reel lines are replaced (laughing, yes,no ect.), as well as spotting a special infected, getting attacked by one, and healing someone else.

ALSO THIS IS HOW TO SPECIFICALLY INSTALL THESE FILES

Follow this guide here first to setup a "custom" folder: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2108763927

Once your done, download GCFScape if you haven't already: https://download.cnet.com/GCFScape/3000-20432_4-75182007.html

Once you do, right click on L4D2 in your Steam library and go to Manage then Browse Local files.

Inside go to "left4dead2" (the lowercase folder) and then "addons", then finally "workshop". Inside are all the addons you downloaded. Find the thumbnail for this addon, and the vpk file following that thumbnail is the workshop file itself. Open up GCFScape then drag that vpk file into it, and it should show the file path of the voice lines.
(\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\producer)

Create that file path in the "custom" folder you made and drag and drop the voice lines found in GCFScape into the new "producer" folder in the "custom" file path.

For removing Rochelle's' leftover lines safely if you dont want two voices out of Hinoka, go to Rochelle's' standard file path used by the game (\left4dead2\sound\player\survivor\voice\producer) and (\left4dead2_dlc1\sound\player\survivor\voice\producer) and in both "producer" folders create a backup folder (call it whatever you want). Simply move all the files from "producer" into there.

Afterwards, start up the game, and once all your addons load go into console and type in "snd_rebuildaudiocache" and let the game do it's things. Once it's done the console should pop up again, type "quit", then go back ingame.

And you're done!

Thank you, I'm glad it ended up being easy to follow!

I couldn't figure out the custom folder and and typing in the commands crashed my game more than anything, but when I finally just replaced Rochelles lines with Hinoka's everything worked out even with the voice add-on disabled. Thanks alot! your instructions were so easy to follow!

I have my guide"ready",in a sense, but unfortunately there's two problems.

1. The screenshots I have are so compressed when putting them into the guide that they're useless to the reader, and I have looked everywhere for an answer to fix this yet still haven't gotten one.

2. All, and I mean all, of the info I have in the guide is the exact same as Doktor haus' sound guide (which I already have linked in the description of all my sound addons). At best my guide is a crappy offshoot with an extra step (which is openingyour local files for L4D2) and at worst it's borderline plagiarism.

And there's also the ratio of people who the mod working vs. those who cant get it to work. I wont make a whole guide for 3 people who cant get it to work (nor can I) but I will still comment directly to try and help you with what you cant get to work.
