Description
Introduction

Where Paths Meet is a mod that mainly overhauls the ascension paths, allowing for more interesting playthroughs.

What this mod does
  • Allows for a combination of the Genetic and Psionic ascension Paths
  • Allows for Hiveminds to take Genetic and Psionic Paths as well
  • Allows for a combination of all the tier one ascension perks for a unique playstyle
  • Allows for Synthetic ascended empires to access some machine ascension perks
  • Gives all combination ascension paths a powerful capstone ascension perk
  • Allows you to seed worlds with pre-sapiant life, and turn pre-sapiants into pre-FTL civilizations
  • Some QOL fixes

What this mod does't
  • pSIonIc ERUdite cyBOrGs ReEEeEEeE
  • (No seriously, I'm not adding that, there are other mods out there for that)
  • Promise a completely balanced experience

Wait, why don't you try to balance it?
Simple, Stellaris is by no means a balanced game, so I'm not even going to attempt to do so. That, and my design philosophy is "if everything is OP, nothing is" hence why I'm not giving as much love to the botlings.

Known Bugs
  • Erudite not working with Psionic
  • The script for giving Erudite & Mentat does not always fire properly (you can get them to show up by hiring any kind of leader)

To-Do List
  • Modify Psionic ascension for Hiveminds to give more pertinent bonuses
  • Modify Psionic Trait (leader and species) for Hiveminds to give more pertinent bonuses
  • Add advanced traits for Bio-Psi ascension
  • Add advanced ascension perk for Bio-Psi-Cyb ascension
  • Add advanced traits fro Bio-Psi-Cyb ascension
  • Give Both special ascension types a unique planet type
  • QOL Fixes for synthetic ascension
  • Give access to Machine Worlds, and Synthetic Age for synthetic ascended empires
  • What, You though I would give it away with an obvious redacted bar?

I really miss my genetically engineered psyonics and this was my favorite mod for that. Unfortunately it is broken with 3.4.x

Without intending to be obnoxious, how goes the update? Honestly, this is one of my favorite mods and it pains me to play without it at this point! <3

Glad to see I'm not the only who has encountered the problem with pop assembly. Was having a hell of a time trying to figure out which mod/s was doing it.

No worries, take your time! This is a very fun mod, willing to wait. Better to see it fixed from one update than several cancelled games due to breakages.

Ok, so, Long story shot, the updates broke way more than I thought. Ive been working at it for a few days now and its still not done, its gonna take a few more days.

Is there an update for 3.1 planned? because the mod break everything related to pop assembly

Currently causes issues for machine empires, which is kinda strange considering machine empires are neither biological nor synthetic... the problem being a lack of pop assembly which means no pop growth. I know it's not updated, but still felt it helpful to mention.
