Global Endurance Modding presents the prestigious Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit!

Kyalami has long been considered the centre of motor racing in South Africa and, appropriately, takes its name from a piece of land on its northern border; in the local Zulu language, Kyalami means 'my home'. South Africa's turbulent political history has meant that Kyalami's fortunes have waxed and waned over the years, with uncertainty as to its future ever-present, though happily it now appears more secure than ever.

The new 4.522km Grand Prix circuit has been certified by the Federation International de l'Automobile (FIA) as a Grade 2 race track, conforming to stringent international safety and quality standards. Kyalami is the only current motor racing facility on the African continent to have been bestowed with such prestigious accreditation.

And now, we bring this fantastic circuit to rFactor 2! It has been converted from Assetto Corsa (credits to Prototype) by Andrea1968 in collaboration with svictor, Mark Pearce and Global Endurance Modding.

it takes so much space of my ssd but still have a bad lighting system and awful texture that not match the storage space it occupied,wish you could update this track with modern standard,I really enjoy driving on this track with gt3 cars🥺🥺🥺

An update is in the works - still a month or 2 out - and we have already offered a WIP version to LFM that fixes the track limits in the meantime. Our progress is a bit slow at the moment, because most of us are juggling work on our existing content with other commitments.

its the best one and gives very decent racing and simming. forget the hell-faktory mar 26 comment not sure what the deal is there. This is a very good track, not on the level of the paid tracks but definite upper medium and great modeling and worth using. well done and thanks

The ugliest version of Kyalami I've ever seen. To find a more unoptimized trace and so ugly implemented, you need to try very hard

We are aware of this, but we are currently not actively working on our mods due to a shortage of personnel. We are open to receiving updated AIWs with improved paths, so we can test it and implement if we deem the change significant enough.
