Description
Find It keywords: NSW, RWY, MWY, buffer

Note: you only need the respective replacer mods you want to use them with. If you don't use metro replacer you don't need it to just use the railway style buffers, and vice versa.

3 style props based on buffers in NSW, Australia. This pack includes a wooden fixed stop (found around older stations), a hydraulic stop (more modern track ends), and a friction-based stop used on the Sydney Metro. The first two will appear in the UI for Railway Replacer as "Australia-NSW" and "Australia-NSW2", respectively. The friction appears in the UI for Metro Replacer as "Australia-NSW".

The friction stops are usually placed much further in from the end of the track so feel free to just use them as props and put them wherever using Find It. Likewise if you want to mix and match the rail buffers (the fixed ones are found at Central while the hydraulic ones are in the sidings just north of Luna Park, for example), just set it to None and place them yourself! :)

These all share a 512x256 texture set and 128x64 LOD texture set.

Fixed wooden has 642 tris, hydraulic has 712, friction has 1,847 because of all the little bolts.

That's it for my Railway project prop set! I'm planning platform networks and props but no idea when they'll be done.

that's alright - the "replacer" mods this and the other NSW RWY props require to be used most effectively include a collection of high quality rail assets - the collection and guide is here. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1569088356

The Replacer mod that inserts these buffers at the end of the track will in fact only work on nice tracks like these :)

Forgive me is this is a silly question but how does one obtain that excellent looking track model?
