Operation Lobizon 3.4

Description
Operation Lobizon is a multiplayer only sub-mod for the renowned mod #Valour. It takes a semi-historical approach to the different armies of the major nations of South America at the time, respecting their historical equipments and uniforms as much as possible.

The main goal of Lobizon is to represent the armies of South America during the second world war with as much accuracy as possible, and also some other countries that were forgotten and/or are somehow connected. However, this mod is dedicated to Argentina and its most glorious era as a strong and sovereign nation, leader in America, only below the United States. I hope this serves to show the public the splendor and looks of our army and nation of the time.

Lore:

Even though I borrowed the name "Operación Lobizón" from The New Order (fandom .com) as it got quite "famous" (not really), the story behind this mod is that in 1943 the dictator of Argentina, Pedro Pablo Ramirez, began to openly support the Axis, quickly joining in by opening a new front in South America against Brazil. War quickly spread throughout the continent, with more neighbor countries joining for, against or falling victim in the crossfire.

What you need to know:

If this is your first time playing #Valour or a sub-mod, you NEED to have #Valour installed and activated along with this mod, other wise it WON'T work. So download and install #Valour first, and then this mod please.

This mod DOES NOT work on FRONTLINES, play on ASSAULT ZONES or COMBAT ONLY.

Factions:

• Argentina
• Spain
• Brazil
• Portugal
• Chile
• Uruguay
• Paraguay
• Bolivia
- And possibly more to come...

Missions:

Lobizon now counts with a singleplayer mission ! "Fortín Boquerón", based on the battle of the Chaco War between Bolivia and Paraguay. Try it!

Known bugs/issues:

- Not compatible with Unforgotten or any 3rd mod (for now)
- "This weapon/tank shouldn't look like this" - That's because that weapon or tank model doesn't exist, and I am doing what I can with what I have.

Important:

The team of Operation Lobizon needs your help, if you know how to make models of weapons or tanks, please message Andros, we would be very thankful for your help!

@dgn sorry for late reply, I didn't get notification. You're right It's just a game, however it "kills" the vibe imo. If the game or a mission itself based on a real event with a specific dates, it should be accurate in term of equipment used during it's time. This is an essential part of what makes it fun.

@ Alpha 84 :If the mod wanted to stay as close as possible to historical accuracy, the MP 28 would have been more appropriate. This entity is present in the #valour mod, in 2 versions (with 30 and 50 rounds magazine). If not, who would create it for the game ?

In South America, the MP 28 was used on the battlefield in particular by Bolivia, Brazil, and Paraguay.

But recently, on the page devoted to Renya 's mod " Men Of War WW2 ", somebody wrote with accuracy : It's just a game, don't let "historical accuracy" ruin the fun ...

Cool mid scale battle! Historical accuracy is on point (mb except mp-35 in 1932 lol). I enjoyed ur mission even tho it didn't end after I killed everyone. Hope there will be more in the future!

On the other hand, the presence of the División Azul, then the Legión Azul, could perfectly fit into battles from June 22, 1941 to May 2, 1945. I don't know if skins of these units exist in MOWAS2 (I know of some in SHOWWII and in CTA-GOH mods), but porting them into the mod (in addition to the necessary authorization to do so) would represent a lot of work.

Cheers.
