The garrysmod/materials folder must exist at linux server, otherwise the flags will not be loaded (will be missing texture)!


If you do not know how create own materials, read: VTF

Step by step:
1. Convert needed image to vtf, best file be 1024x512 as Compressed Texture (DXT1)
( You can use this tool: https://rafradek.github.io/Mishcatt/ )
2. Put into %ur addon or garrysmod folder%/materials/models/anim_flag_skins/
3. Rename how u want see name of flag in select menu:
- First character always will be in upper case
- "^" before letter will make its in upper case
- "_" will be replaced with space
For example "My COOL Flagname" will be "my_^c^o^o^l_^flagname.vtf"
4. Launch/Reenter game and check result

Addon automatically search VTF in anim_flag_skins folder and generate VMT, so u do not need to write it!

Yes, u can create new flags by instruction above, publish into workshop and sets this addon in requirements.

If you think your flag is very necessary, ask us to add it in the comments.

Spawn a flag using spawnmenu (Entity tab -> Animated Flags category).
For change skins use context menu (hold C) and hover property `Flag skin`.
