Description
With this mod you get the Stadler Variobahn Munich.Between 2005 and 2008 the MVG ordered 14 Variobahn vehicles from Stadler, which were delivered in 2009. The unlimited approval was delayed due to problems with the wheels and many serial defects. The comfort and reliability are still poor until today and the series S is allowed to travel on the entire network only since 2019. The option has not been exercised.
You will get two versions. One normal and one with illuminated interior for darker environments (Night Mod)

All common Transport Fever 2 features are integrated:

- Passengers interior
- Lights and door animations
- Many camera angles
- Individual color painting
- Emissive direction signs and variable line number, end station (first stop of the line) and next stop on the inside. Supports CommonAPI2 line destination signs.
- Original sounds
- Dirt
- Lods
- Automatic pricing
- DDS textures, low storage & performance usage
- Blinking lights when turning (Thanks UG for finally implementing it!)

With CommonAPI2 you get dynamic destination signs. It‘s available on transportfever.net

Thank you so much. I wish the destination sign changes, I have 5 trams at a station and all of them the same thing. I love the sound effects, camera angles, and the look.

Dadurch wird aber garnichts dynamisch. Damit wird einfach immer der nächste Halt angezeigt, was völliger Unfug ist.

Ich habe nicht ganz gecheckt, wie ich zu dieser Mod komme und wie ich sie aktiviere... Ich habe mich deswegen in das Modding Manual eingelesen und etwas an der MDL Datei herumexperimentiert. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass ich die Zielanzeige ganz einfach dynamisch machen kann. Da Steam keine zu langen Kommentare erlaubt, teile ich den Kommentar auf. Ich habe es geschafft, indem:

1. ich die MDL Datei unter: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1066780\1965084414\res\models\model\vehicle\tram öffne.
2. ich mit Ctrl + F bzw. Strg. + F folgende Zeile im Code ausfindig mache: params = {relative = false,...
3. ich diese eine Zeile jeweils aus den Codeblocks herauslösche, (!!nur jene mit der Beschriftung "---aussen" und "---seite", für "---Innen" ist es ja egal!!) und die Datei wieder abspeichere.
Sicherheitshalber habe ich die MDL-Datei vorher aber noch kopiert und zwischengespeichert, falls etwas schiefgehen würde.
Nach jeder gelöschten Zeile Code, habe ich im Spiel abgecheckt, ob auch wirklich das passiert ist, was ich wollte.
Falls jemand anderes das also auch ändern möchte: Voilà. So geht's.

Ne, nicht wegen der Kapazität. Ich frag, weil wir 7-teilige in Basel haben. Zugegeben, wir haben zwar Siemens Combinos und Bombardier Flexitys, aber dieses münchner Modell kommt den baslern ziemlich nahe. Ich weiss leider nicht, wie man das moden kann. Verstehe aber natürlich, dass das zu aufwendig sein kann.

Was mich aber auch interessiert: Kann man die Anzeige auf der Strassenbahn ändern? Momentan zeigt die Anzeige immer die Haltestelle, die in der Linie an erster Stelle steht. Auch, wenn die Bahn in die entgegengesetzte Richtung fährt. Ist das veränderbar? Auch z.B. im Code der Mod?

Ich hoffe, das kommt nicht irgendwie aggressiv oder so rüber. Ich finde die Mod sehr cool und freue mich sehr darüber. Ich frage wirklich nur, weil es vielleicht einen einfachen Trick oder so gibt. :)
