UK Light Signals

Description
British Light Signals Pack, by killakanz

This pack adds a number of British style electric light signals, available after 1925:
- Ground shunt signal
- 2 Aspect Signal (left of track)
- 3 Aspect Signal (left of track)
- 4 Aspect Signal (left of track)
- 2 Aspect Signal, offset right (left of track)
- 2 Aspect Signal, offset left (right of track)
- 3 Aspect Signal, offset right (left of track)
- 3 Aspect Signal, offset left (right of track)

Double Signal Modules:
- 2 Aspect Double Signal, Pole
- 2 Aspect Signal Head
- 3 Aspect Double Signal, Pole
- 3 Aspect Signal Head
(See image above for how to use double signal modules)

Gantries!
- Build gantries across as many tracks as you want using the modules found in the assets menu, then attach headers labelled G in the railway signals menu. See video above for a complete how-to.
- 2 types of gantry: Solid walkwayed and lattice!
- 2, 3 and 4 aspect headers to mix'n'match

Update 06/July/2020
- Added newly re-textured AWS magnet assets. Use Shift + [ or ] to align them to railway gradient
- Added platelayer's lineside hut decorative asset.
Both of these assets are found under the "killakanz" category in the menu, just like the gantries.

- More solid gantry modules added: double direction, reverse direction and blank modules.
Note the lattice type gantry has not yet received these additional modules, they will come later!
- New smaller base for standalone signals.
- Fixed some material issues.

- Offset signals with attached shunt signals added. - Issues known: Both main and shunt signals show danger and proceed at same time as each other. Nothing I can do about that, deal with it. Also they don't have HUD icons at the moment, I forgot about that until after hitting the upload button...

- Added concrete bases to all signal poles
- Fixed an issue where signals would show all their lights after a certain distance. TpF2 has a weird glitch where emissive objects render through close solid objects after a certain distance. I "fixed" this by having lights hide underground (in the concrete base) when not in use.
- Some texture tweaks.

Corrected Danger aspect on dwarf ground signal and lengthened base so it no longer 'floats'

Please note
with the 3 aspect signal, the yellow state is not a true 3 aspect signal mechanic as the game simply does not support this.
The signal is set to switch from red to yellow after about 25 seconds (unless interrupted by a green event), regardless of wether the block is clear or not. The game still considers it red, and if the next block isn't clear, you may get a train stopping at a yellow light.

For this reason I highly recommend not using the 3 aspect signal in areas where trains are likely to stop or reverse. The 2 aspect signal should be used instead.

I misplaced one of the AWS magnets on a bridge and now I'm unable to delete it. Assets from other mods seem to be fine so I'm not sure why this is. Even tried removing the tracks and spamming the bulldozer to no avail.

Came back to the game from a long break and originally thought this mod was not working, until I realised that there is another mod for UK Semaphore signals before 1925. Doh!
Happiness restored. The game is just not the same unless I can see UK signals, UK Locomotives and UK rolling stock.

I'd like to up vote Pulkzestörer's suggestion of adding diverging aspects for the gantry signals please.

Gantries are not compatible with Autosig, at least when I tried, it didn't work for me.

@MrSledge it can be fiddly getting them to "snap" together as it can take time and patience, even if you think you have a straight section of track, make sure that it's in the middle of a section and not where sections of track are connected together. I found that was an issue and made sure that when I added a gantry it was in the centre of a section of track and not at the end. It worked for me. Also try using the reverse sections too, and see if that helps out.

Absolutely great mod! Well done! Minor issue: some of the standalone signal boxes can clip into the tops of some trains - most noticeable on passenger wagons.

I need to update the video... The "reverse" sections are for signals in the other direction from where you're building, if that makes sense. It's only available for the solid, I never got round to finishing it for the lattice.

Also, no. I have not worked with, affiliated with or tested with Autosig. I do not expect it to be compatible. If it does work, I'd be pleasantly surprised.

The gantry's are available in the assets section, simply look for the killakanz logo there and you'll see them.
