@jellywish yeah Narko's lettuce would definitely be better, and as for the slang I haven't come across anyone referring to it as Narko's lettuce in-game, but I do feel like it wouldn't feel too out of place and would poke just a little bit of humor into the dark subjects as Kenshi often does. Feel free to use whatever ideas you like i'm just spit firing them anyways haha

@Taunt those are great! right now they have a long list of kind-of random ai where they might be peaceful and just hang out in bars or they might attack on sight. I'll have to test it out to see if any of their behavior actually makes sense.
My only note is that 'devils lettuce' would end up being Narko's Lettuce or something. (idk if they use that kind of slang in vanilla tho)

haven't downloaded the mod yet but here's a few ideas for dialogue.
Do you plan on having them approach you (relatively) peacefully like starving bandits might? If so I'd go with something like:

"Hand over your fish and cats if you want to survive. Hell, you look like you might hit some of the devil's lettuce too. Hand over your hemp, now!"

Then give the player dialogue to choose from to either submit or fight.

If you simply want them to attack on sight you could go with:

"Forfeit your fish!"
"Looks like we found ourselves the cats for a re-up!"
"Do you think these guys might have some hemp on them? Only one way to find out!"
"Heh. Funny. I JUST took my last hit. You showed up at the perfect time."

Just some random ideas while I wait for my crap internet to download all the workshop mods I just got.

yeah it was i read that post We Want More Drugs For Kenshi 2 and i was like "yeah there are hungry people but where are the people being affected by drugs?" like according to one of the lore books (i think it's a captive's journal or Men of Dirt) this stuff is a serious problem for Kenshi society
