Description
Four new graphical cultures were added:
- Latin
- Greek
- Turkish
- Persian
- Mongol
- Thai

Three new graphical cultures for European cities were created to add flavour and immersion to Mediterranean nations. Catholic and Orthodox nations from around the Mediterranean will now be visually different from their Western European and East Slavic/Romanian counterparts. In addition, Turkish and Caucasus Muslim nations will now also have their own graphical culture. Each new graphical culture now has its own church or mosque. I created a Greek church model from the existing Russian church model. I added minarets to that model for the Turkish mosques.

The fourth graphical culture, Persian, was added for persianised nations across the world. This includes Persia, Kurdistan, Azerbaijan, Muslim Indian nations, and Muslim Malayan nations. It uses the Indian buildings and a retextured Muslim graphical culture mosque.

The fifth graphical culture, Mongol, was added for nomad nations in Asia and Europe, and to Siberian nations. It uses remodeled and retextured African huts and North American fort.

The sixth graphical culture, Thai, was added for Theravada nations in South-East Asia. It uses remodeled and retextured Asian buildings.

Other graphical tweaks:
- Some tweaks have also been made to existing graphical cultures to fix snow coverage in winter that used to not affect all buildings (e.g. Western town centers, all Muslim buildings, most Indian buildings, etc.)
- Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Mazovia, and Krakow now use the westerngfx graphical culture
- Non-Muslim Malayan states and Nepali nations were given the Indian graphical culture
- South American and Mesoamerican nations will now use an overhauled graphical culture that replaces overgrown/ruined buildings with realistic dwellings borrowed from North American assets and the pyramid was also improved
- The Indian graphical culture was slightly overhauled to use less Persian/Muslim dwellings and more traditional Indian dwellings
- Edited Polynesian and Aboriginal graphical cultures to remove stone buildings

This is not compatible with achievements. It is also not compatible with mods that add or change countries.

Dear Mod Maker,

It is a deep shame to know that this mod has been out of date now for nearly three entire years. It was amazing how much more authentic the game felt with the graphical tweeks that were made with this mod. Anyhow, have a good rest of your day!

I already received permission to use Mesogeios for a mod once, but just to be sure, can the team for an upcoming mod (Defiance of Rhotalon) also use it? It's another fantasy world, with a heavy Byzantine theme this time.

Hi, I'm working on a big map overhaul
Given that this mod is non ironman (changes checksum), I would be very happy to introduce it in the mod so as to maintain multiplayer compatilibity, if you accept. I would of course credit you.

In the future, will this mod work for custom nations? currently it works however when i go to improve a tile development it reverts back.
