My collection of Kenshi mods all in one place.

First, let me start by saying that I adore this game. I've been a fan-boy for it since I bought it back in 2013, and have over the years watched it grow. Since its actual release it's pretty much all I've been playing. That being said, it's also the first game I've made any real attempt to mod, and certainly to share. My background is tied to technology, but not as a game designer (I did however help design training simulations for the military for a while) so this has been an interesting experience and I've come to appreciate the work that went into this game's making. I tried to only add to and in no way take away from this legitimate work of art. If you run into any issue, or have something to say, feel free to leave comments. There is a lot of open space out there, I'm just trying to fill it in a bit.

START MODS:

Several of these mods are simple collections of starts that I've made over time. They come in a variety of flavors and are now packaged together to both tie them together with a common theme and to allow you to pick and choose what you like (less clutter in the start screen too). Many include robotics or standings and a few allow access to additional research. Some were designed to be devilishly hard, others easy, none are designed to be game-breaking. Most were ideas I came up with while either playing or developing the content mods. If they exist elsewhere, I tried not to put them here.

* Houses of Shadow -- custom party designed to integrate with my content mods.

* The Unholy and The Damned -- custom squad starts tied to various factions.

* Kenshi Team-ups -- vanilla team-ups.

* Dust Devils -- solo starts in the UC, the southwest, and more. Now a collection in itself, these mods add starts, a base and more.

CONTENT MODS:

* The Metalheads: Bast Edition -- began as an attempt to add a small faction of roaming monsters to the game and has grown into an overhaul of Bast and more. It now adds a slaver stronghold, wandering units of vicious slavers, several bounty targets and a couple of additions to Brink and Black Desert City. All of this is designed in an effort to bring the gang to life and give you a personal stake in their fate. I tried to give it a techno-horror feel and made the settlement dangerous to outsiders, all without being too disruptive to the rest of the game or deviating from the game's lore (too much). It's dark, gritty and violent so it fits perfectly into the region. Includes two new starts that play out as two sides in the battle for Bast as the raiders move in. I really like how this one turned out.

* The Chad Mod! -- a semi-serious attempt to add some humor and more martial arts themed content to the game. It modifies the character Chad and the game very slightly, adding some unique factions and a few special mercenary units and/or bounty opportunities. It gives bars a slight tweak in terms of patrons, and makes bar fights a bit more common. It also lets you start as Chad (duh) as you prevent the gentrification of Flat's Lagoon. Includes the Chad with a dog start (at the smugglers bar) to make up for what I did in Metalheads to the Bast region. Now with more bandannas.

ADD-ON MODS:

* The Chad Mod!: Chad Mode! -- takes Chad and turns him up to 11. Even more bandannas.

NOTES:

Preattaching robot limbs on a game start seems to create a bug that shows the wrong hit points for the limb. It's easily fixed by refitting the limb.

Credit where credit is due. I use Dark UI, Faces Plus, and numerous mods that fix clipping issues to the point I forget they aren't part of the game (all in my favorites). My screen shots were made with these mods enabled and I'd like to thank their creators. You all do great work.
