BIG THANKS TO THE PARAGON

Red-Light Demeanour: A Civic Mod for MegaCorp

Red-Light Demeanour adds a singular eponymous civic that transforms a megacorporation in to a sort of a mega-brothel, with a slight twist.
Instead of increasing happiness or something like that, it works around growth rates, meaning that if one doesn't watch out, their planets could get over populated.
I am well aware that prostitution isn't supposed to lead to pregnancy, however to make things interesting and to actually increase the likelihood people would use this civic, I decided to spice things up and make these brothels breeder borthels. Any more comments about how prostitutes aren't supposed to get pregnant will be deleted.

The civic is relatively simple, not too dissimilar to Free Haven, however it does some things that are special:
- Commercial Pacts increase happiness and growth rate for both empires, that is the megacorp and the empire with which it created the pact with. This effect isn't stacking (yet).
- Mega-Brothels can construct Brothel Houses, which create Pleasure Worker jobs, a job that is similar to merchant and clerk, but also adds 5% extra growth speed.
- NEW:Criminal Syndicates with Red-Light Demeanour get their own version of Brothel Houses, based around crime.
- It grants the powerful ability of Cross-Breeding all the way at the start, though it does not render the Xeno-Compatibility ascension perk too useless, as it still increases the immigration pull.
NEW:
Brothel Houses now grant the ability to cross-breed on any planets they are built on, be it a regular planet or a branch office. The civic alone doesn't do it anymore.
- It increases pop happiness at the cost of making specialists and workers less productive, meaning you should work towards making your empire happy, with the boost you get, to keep your production high.

The Civic is not compatible with Gospel of the Masses, but fret not, among the plans in Future Plans is an interaction with the spiritualist ethos instead.

This mod also comes with a singular personality that is the standby default for all mega-brothels at this current state: the Pleasure Managers.
They are an empire personality that cares only about money and pleasing their customers and are generally war averse, that however doesn't mean they do not like war.

Compatibility

This mod should be perfectly compatible with most things, however I am unsure of how it will interact with any special civics added by other mods. This mod is not compatible with mods that modify the 00_rules file.

Future Plans

I plan to expand the mechanics a bit more, refine them to be even more interesting, as right now the civic itself is quite basic, however it still tries to do something new, and that is what my path should be in the future. I also plan to create extensive interactions with the Indentured Assets and Criminal Heritage civics, as they could lead to much more intriguing playstyles. Additionally, I plan to add more personalities too.

sex actually could be a good policy to include. Maybe just 3 options: Decency, neutral and free. Decency would give a boost to unity and overall production but lower pop growth and free would do the reverse.

I am not actively developing the mod anymore, so I don't know what to do to fix it.

Can confirm the habitability issue is confined to this mod.

Is that with this specific version of the mod, or the latest one? I have already posted a link for up to date versions of the mod,and I am no longer maintaining this
