Middle Earth double XL

Description
Middle Earth Double XL is the ultimate LOTR map, as it fully utilizes both the surface and underground space. Play as Mordor, Harad, Orcs, Isengard, Dwarves, Gondor, Noldor & High Elves. Each faction starts with four customized heroes.

This is a nice mod - especially like the heroes. But I can't understand why you've made any of the leaders or heroes dreadnoughts when there are no machines in Middle Earth. I'd have thought Elladan and Elrohir would be warlords or else druids (rangers).

This looks great. Are Beorn and Radaghast in it?

Can this be played with custom/regular factions too?

The reason why I have made these armies, is so that players can get a good headstart when playing such a big map. So the intention is to use them early on to get resources and then steadily diminish the armies as units are slain. Alternatively, it will take very long time before the players can expand..

Yes, I agree with nightjar. The big armies that most fctions start with are gold-consuming and need more money to work.

Looks pretty impressive, but after half a dozen days my troops start deserting, since the city populations are too low to support them (this is for the elves). Yeah, I can run out and try to grab as much of the many free gold piles that are lying around, but it will be very hard to sustain my troops for at least 20 days.

I removed the tags under 'package' in the map editor, which is the only things that I am aware of attach the map to DLC 1. If you know another way, pls let me know :) And yes, this map is made very thoroughly. I have made sure that it is packed with events everywhere, and I have also made sure that it has appealing aesthetics everywhere.

sounds like a stupid form of anti piracy if the mod always remembers you setting it as required even accidently or irrelevantly.

if its true that youve removed any dependency tags for it, then you probably have to go all the way back and create a clean version like some other popular mods.

it does look nice
