Galaxy Cores & Shapes

Ever wanted to play a small or tiny spiral galaxy? Perhaps you are annoyed that the center of the galaxy is devoid of stars? Then this mod is for you.

Features:
  • Enables the spawning of stars in galactic core
  • Enables all galaxy shapes at all sizes
  • Reduced "tightness" of the spiral in 4-arm galaxies so the arms are more defined.

Bugs:
  • Currently this mod limits the crisis slider to 5x rather than the new max of 25x. I am currently working to fix this.

Support:
If you downloaded this mod as part of a collection I cannot guarantee that it won't conflict with other mods in said collection. However, it should work with pretty much everything. If you discover any bugs, please make make a post on the "bug reports" discussion thread.

Most mods (ones that dont change districts or the manufacturing buildings) that work on 2.7 or better will work with 3.0 so no rush... i say a month after the last comment

I will be updating it for sure, I just haven't had time. Been playing too much Nemesis myself lol.

Hey I really love this mod, any chance of getting an update? With 3.0 it now does not allow the crisis selection, its just missing. My guess is that this mod locked in the galaxy generation settings from whatever patch you originally made it for. If you could update it so that it allows those newer galaxy generation options I would be ever so grateful.

Paradox altered the crisis strenght setting recently, so it's bugged for many mods.
So FYI, it's not just yours.

@xymor, I tested it myself in much the same way and I think you are right. I gotta say I'm surprised. While I don't think this will be a problem for most people I will add a bug section to the description and see if I can fix it.

@GravityCatz. Here is the method I used to arrive at this conclusion: I disabled all mods and turned them back on one at a time loading the game after each one to see if the slider was normal, then I would turn off the mod and proceed tot he next one. I have loaded the game with just this mod and it limits the slider to x5. I have also loaded the game with all mods active but this one and it displays the crisis strengths above x5.

So, I'm pretty sure it is this mod but if there is anything else I should try I haven't thought of let me know and Ill try it.

@xymor I don't see how it could possibly interact with that slider. I will look into it, but I would also say you should check to see if any other mods could be causing this.

Love this mod but noticed that this mod prevents me from setting Crisis strength above x5. Any chance that could be fixed?
