Next Encounter Weapons Remade [Resource Pack]

Description
The unique weapons from Serious Sam: Next Encounter remade from scratch, including new models, new textures and new animations.

Features:
- 8 weapons from Next Encounter - Pistol, Shotgun, Uzis, Minigun, Grenade Launcher, Gas Gun, Sniper Rifle and Sirian Power Gun*
- BFE and VR** versions
- For mappers - alternate ammo and weapon pickups with particles resembling the original NE ones

IMPORTANT STUFF, DO NOT SKIP THIS AND THEN ASK STUPID QUESTIONS:
- This is a resource pack, it DOES NOT REPLACE anything. If you want to replace the default weapons in HD/BFE YOU WILL NEED to use Custom Weapons Managment and HDtoBFE
- *The Sirian Power Gun has some drawbacks due to limitations of the engine - It has limited range, does not show the beam in third person (also the animation clips through the player) and will bug out if you keep firing until you run out of ammo. Yes it's not ideal, but you can go yell at Croteam for not having weapon features that were in a 2004 console game
- Same with alternate fire and dual wield. There is no way to properly implement those features right now.
- The chainsaw is not included because the engine doesn't allow for proper animations, but I might make the model at some point in the future. Same with the rocket launcher. Serious Bomb is a bit trickier because of the fuse, so no guarantees about that one.

- noam2000 - Powergun functionality and animations, providing weapon sounds as well as nagging me to finish this, and being a good (except that alien level, that is definately not good and you know it)

The uzis muzzle flash disappears. The electrical beam of the Sirian energy cannon disappears.

hello maybe im so bad to use correctly a mod but its doesn't work for me i download the mod hdfield and yours ( remade next encounter ) but i don't see the change on the game ? please help me

Ah right, i forgot. Still can't do anything about the power gun (maybe go nag Kuber until he figures something out lol), but at least I updated the Sniper zoom to x12, enjoy

Can't really do anything about the Power Gun's range because the original was a continuous hitscan beam weapon that can't be replicated in the Fusion engine (at least not without advanced coding which I'm not capable of). I will see about the sniper zoom range, though x12 seems a bit overkill for TSE maps, NE levels were much bigger.

minigun doesnt spawn with CWM

If anyone else can't get the minigun from this mod to replace the BFE minigun properly, look for a SS2 minigun replacement mod on the workshop and download it. It allows the NER minigun to spawn due to some kind of spaghetti.

the beam gun's beam only visible for me in one direction and if i fire it in a 90 degree different direction the beam is invisible

when using custom weapons managment and hd to bfe it sill doesn't work.
